The Amazing son in law Chapter 1629

    “Miss Ito?”

Upon hearing Charlie’s inquiry, Tanaka’s expression darkened, and he let out a slight sigh. “Mr. Wade, it’s true that Miss Nanako sustained severe injuries during her confrontation with Miss Quinton. They managed to save her life, but her health is not what it used to be. She is currently recuperating in Kyoto…”

Charlie felt a wave of anxiety wash over him as he thought about Nanako Ito’s gentle nature.

However, he masked his emotions and calmly asked, “Is there any hope? Can she stillpete?”

Tanaka Hiroshi offered a bittersweet smile. “Unfortunately, she won’t be able to participate in thepetition. The eldestdy is very fragile at the moment. Just a few days ago, she struggled to stand and could barely take a few steps. Now, she spends most of her time resting in bed. If she’s feeling a bit better, she might venture out in a wheelchair to enjoy some sunlight.”<fne094> Chapters first released on FιndNovel</fne094><h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

The image of the girl who used tough freely, now sitting in a wheelchair under the sun, pierced Charlie’s heart.

He pressed on, “What about her spirits?”

Hiroshi Tanaka shook his head. “On the surface, she appears unaffected and seems happy every day. Yet, knowing her as I do, I sense she harbors many thoughts within. She spoke to me a few days ago, expressing feelings about wanting to see people, yet knowing there are some she may never meet again. I couldn’t grasp her meaning at the time, but I could tell she was quite downcast…”

Charlie sighed, “She shouldn’t have yed that game.”

Tanaka was taken aback by Charlie’s concern for his eldestdy.

After a moment of surprise, he responded with a sigh, “Mr. Wade, you’re right. Initially, both the president and I urged her not to engage in that game, but she was resolute…”

Continuing, Tanaka said, “In recent times, the guild has sought out all the renowned doctors in Japan, yet none have been able to address the youngdy’s injuries. That’s why I’vee to Eastcliff to consult with the Eastcliff National Medical Center for possible treatments…”

Charlie nodded and inquired, “Any progress?”

“No,” Hiroshi Tanaka replied, disappointment evident in his voice. “Mr. Ito has offered a substantial reward, hoping to entice the top doctors of the National Medical Center to travel to Japan and treat the youngdy, but they have declined.”

Charlie shook his head. He had witnessed the extent of Nanako Ito’s injuries on the day it happened and knew that they far exceeded what current medical practices—whether Western or Chinese—could remedy.

In truth, he realized that he might be the only person capable of healing her.

As these thoughts swirled in his mind, Charlie remembered he would be traveling to Japan soon. He wondered if he might have the opportunity to see Nanako Ito in Kyoto.

If given the chance, he was determined to visit her, at the very least to help mend her injuries.

At that moment, Charlie lost interest in continuing the conversation with Tanaka and hispanion, so he waved his hand dismissively. “Alright, I won’t pursue this any further. You two should hurry along.”

Tanaka, feeling relieved, quickly bowed to Charlie and said respectfully, “Mr. Charlie, we’ll take our leave now…”

With that, he took the woman beside him and hurried away.
