The Amazing son in law Chapter 1703

Noticing that Charlie remainedpletely still, Takahashi Eiki sensed that today was going to be particrly cold for him.

At this moment, he realized he was no longer in control of the situation.

Even if he were to call upon a family master for assistance now, it would be toote.

As despair settled over Hideki Takahashi, the door of the nearby Rolls Royce swung open unexpectedly.

Zara stepped out and addressed Charlie, saying, “Sir, as a fellow Chinese, you should understand the virtues of forgiveness. Can’t you see the bigger picture?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Charlie was taken aback that someone would dare to step in for Takahashi Eiki.

And to add to his surprise, it was a woman.

With a frown, he turned his gaze to Zara and asked coldly, “I assume you’re Chinese too? Why are you trying to defend this little Japanese man?”

Zara replied, “I’m not defending him; I’m simply suggesting that you should show some restraint and leave room for others.”

Charlie smirked and challenged her, “Just moments ago, he had a group of over a dozen people attacking me. Why didn’t you intervene then and advise him to show some restraint?”

Zara was momentarily taken aback by Charlie’s response.

A fleeting thought crossed her mind: if Charlie were to lose control and his life were at stake, she would undoubtedly have stepped in to stop Takahashi Eiki.

However, she knew in her heart that she wouldn’t truly believe her own words right now.

So, she replied, “You weren’t injured by that group, were you? Since you’re unharmed, why not extend some grace towards them?”

Charlie scoffed, “If he won’t give me any grace, why should I offer him any?”

Zara retorted, “Let’s be clear: you initiated this conflict. This is a public road, not your personal yground. Chasing and fighting on the street is inherently wrong. You pursued him, and it ended with him being hit by a car.”

Charlie smiled and asked, “So, do you know why I chased that kid in the first ce?”

Zara coldly responded, “I don’t know, nor do I want to know. Regardless, pursuing someone on the street is simply rude.”<fn2e66> Newest update provided by FιndNovel</fn2e66>

She continued, “While you made mistakes, you also attacked Mr. Takahashi without justification, didn’t you?”

Charlie replied with a snort, “You don’t seem like the type to defend the wicked. Why are you advocating for these two Japanese men? Especially when they’re scoundrels?”

Zara shot back, “Scoundrels? Let me ask you, why do youbel them as such when one was running from you and ended up causing a car ident, and the other was injured by you?”

Charlie dismissed her concerns, saying, “Your superficiality is truly astounding!”

Zara, now visibly agitated, demanded, “What did you just say? I’m superficial?”

Charlie affirmed, “Yes, and very superficial!”

After a moment, he added, “People who are superficial often believe only what they see. Let’s set aside any misdeeds of the kid who got hit by the car. Just look at Takahashi. He got out of the car, acted all nonchnt, and had so many people attack me. Do you really think he’s innocent? If I hadn’t been skilled enough, I could have been beaten to death by those bodyguards!”

Zara’s anger red as she eximed, “I just want you to show some mercy! You’ve already broken one of his arms—how much more do you want?”

“Not enough!” Charlie replied coldly. “I’ve got another one to break!”

    “You….”

    Zara was truly furious.

She hadn’t anticipated this young man to be so audacious!
