<h1>Aman Hotel Tokyo</h1>
After finishing her shower, Zara powered up herptop in her hotel room. Once again, she and her brother joined Zayne for a video conference, even though he was miles away in Eastcliff.<fn5c2c> Latest content published on FιndNovel</fn5c2c>
The siblings shared the news about Takahashi’s significant concession with Zayne, who was taken aback by the information.
From Zayne’s perspective, Takahashi was incredibly knowledgeable and determined, not just in his ambitions to eliminate the Ito family, but also in his willingness to let Lee assist the Banks Family, essentially epting a subordinate role. Such qualities made Takahashi quite teachable in Zayne’s eyes.
Zara remarked, “Dad, we’re scheduled to meet Ito Yuhiko from the Ito family tomorrow as previously arranged. However, I believe Ito Yuhiko has already lost hispetitive edge in this partnership. Bridge clearly understands the better conditions.”
Zayne nodded thoughtfully and chuckled, “Then just go through the motions. Afterpleting the formalities, you can sign the agreement with the Takahashi family. But before that, let’s visit the major ports in Japan to observe the operations at Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, and Osaka.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Zara agreed, saying, “Don’t worry, my brother and I have already mapped out the itinerary.”
“That’s great to hear,” Zayne smiled with satisfaction. “I didn’t expect Takahashi Jinzhi to reduce his share to 25%. It’s worth noting that your grandfather’s initial asking price was 30%, with a maximum tolerance of 35%. Cutting down by 10% from that limit is quite significant. Once the contract is signed, your grandfather will be thrilled and will surelymend you both!”
Fitz chimed in, “Dad, if Grandpa really gives us that credit, can we convince him to hand over the entire ocean shipping business to our family?”
Zayneughed, “I’ll definitely aim to secure this business from him, and I believe the chances of him agreeing are quite high. You two should focus on preparing for the cooperation in Japan, while I discuss it with your grandfather, trying to persuade him to pass this business on to you siblings.”
Zara quickly interjected, “Dad, I don’t want to take it on; let my brother handle it instead.”
Zayne looked puzzled. “Why? Why would you pass up such a fantastic opportunity?”
Zara replied earnestly, “I n to go to the United States to pursue an MBA after this project is finished.”
Fitz responded eagerly, “Oh, sister, you’re already so talented! Why waste time on an MBA? It would be better to return and start securing some resources for the family right away!”
Zara shook her head. “Learning is a lifelong journey. I’m not ready to return to work just yet, and I’m not particrly interested in family resources.”
Zayne urged, “Zara, you’re not getting any younger. It’s time to start thinking about marriage. An MBA takes a lot of time; better to settle down in a couple of years.”
Zara countered, “Marriage? With whom?”
Zayne replied, “Your grandfather will naturally help you find the best match.”
“I’d rather not,” Zara said, shaking her head. “If I let my grandfather choose for me, I might as well find someone I like on the streets of Tokyo and marry them casually.”
“Stop talking nonsense!” Zayne eximed, clearly frustrated. “Your grandfather might send you to Japan for cooperation talks, but he would never allow you to marry a Japanese man!”
Zara smirked yfully and said to Zayne, “Who said I intended to marry a Japanese? There are plenty of Chinese people in Tokyo as well! I even met one on my way here—tall, handsome, and quite charming. I think he’s more appealing than someone my grandfather would choose for me.”
Fitz awkwardly asked, “Do you even know his name?”
Zara hummed, “I was just using that as an example. It doesn’t really matter what his name is. I could always ask him the next time we meet.”
Fitz chuckled and said, “I doubt you’ll get the chance again. With Takahashi’s nature, he certainly wouldn’t let anyone like that leave Japan unscathed.”
Zara raised an eyebrow, “How can you be so sure Takahashi could take him down? I think that guy is quite capable, and Takahashi might not be able to handle him.”
Fitz shook his head, smiling. “Even the strongest dragon can’t suppress a snake. Two fists may beat four hands, but they might not fare well against forty or four hundred.”
