Charlie’s flight touched down at Aurous Hill Airport around ten o’clock that evening. To keep ire in suspense, Charlie had decided not to inform her that he would be returning that night. Isaac Cameron had already arranged for a convoy to pick them up, so when they disembarked from the ne, they split into several cars for the journey home.
Don Albert and Liam chose to leave separately, while Isaac Cameron took the initiative to drive Charlie back to Thompson First, a gesture Charlie epted without hesitation.
As Isaac Cameron drove, he turned to Charlie with a grin and remarked, “Master, we really put the Banks Family in a tough spot this time. If they catch wind of it, they might be desperate for revenge…”
“That’s fine,” Charlie replied with a smile. “The Banks Family has bigger problems now. They’ve lost so many members; it’ll take them years to recover. They’re probably feeling overwhelmed right now.”
“Indeed,” Isaac Cameron sighed. “Xion Banks, who was so distracted by the people from Eastcliff, ended up being drawn into this mess because of you. The Banks Family has taken quite a hit.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
“Xion?” Charlie frowned, curious. “Who is she?”
Isaac exined, “She’s the woman you met on the ne. Xion is considered one of the strongest talents in the Banks Family.”
Charlie raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Is she the heir to the Banks Family?”
“Not exactly,” Isaac replied. “She just happened to join the Banks Family at eighteen, and it’s only been three years. However, in that short time, she’s made quite a name for herself and has proven her strength.”
Charlie nodded thoughtfully and said, “It’s unfortunate that I didn’t get a chance to talk with her.”<fnd7de> For original chapters go to find?novel</fnd7de>
Isaac chuckled, “Master, she might be skilled among ordinary people, butpared to you, she’s on a different level. With just a word from you, I believe Xion would be reduced to ashes!”
Charlie replied nonchntly, “Using thunderstorm techniques too often isn’t wise. I still hope to have a chance to learn from real martial arts masters in the future.”
“Most of the national martial arts masters are based in Eastcliff,” Isaac noted. “Some serve the Order, while others are aligned with the top families.”
Charlie smiled slightly, “If the opportunity arises, you should make another trip to Eastcliff.”
Just then, Isaac Cameron’s phone rang unexpectedly.
He nced at the phone holder and eximed, “Master, it’s your aunt calling…”
“My aunt?” Charlie frowned, and a young woman’s image shed in his mind.
He recalled his aunt, Cynthia, who was two years younger than his father. They hadn’t been close, and as a result, he didn’t have a strong rtionship with her family. In his memories, she had alwayse across as somewhat snobbish, likely due to her closeness to his uncle, the eldest son. Because of the tension between his uncle and father, Cynthia often sided with her husband, which had irritated Charlie in the past.
Isaac Cameron, sensing the confusion, mented, “I haven’t been in touch with your aunt, so I’m not sure why she’s calling now. I’ll take the call.”
“Okay,” Charlie cautioned. “Just don’t reveal any information about me.”
“Understood, Master!”
Isaac Cameron nodded and pressed the answer button on the phone.
As soon as the call connected, he respectfully greeted, “Hello, Miss!”
Isaac Cameron, being a subordinate of the Wade family, addressed the members of the main family with respect. Apart from the elder, Corran, Bruce and Cynthia were all seen as young masters anddies.
