Lady Wilson had no idea that while she was at the hospital, Gena was already in her home.


    In a rush, she and Wendy made their way to the hospital, where they found Christopher and Harold. The father and sony there, their bodies heavily bandaged in ster, resembling half-mummies.


    Although their injuries were not life-threatening, both had fractured limbs, rendering them unable to move. They could only lie in bed, moaning in pain.


    Upon entering the room, Lady Wilson was taken aback and filled with dread at the sight of them. She hurried to their side, eximing, “Christopher! Harold! What happened to you?!”


    Seeing their grandmother, both Christopher and Harold could not hold back their tears, weeping loudly. Harold, in particr, cried with great sorrow.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">


    Wendy, overwhelmed with emotion, burst into tears and asked, “Dad, brother, how did this happen to you?”


    With red eyes, Harold cried out, “Grandma! My dad and I were attacked by Donald’s crew! I feel so wronged! I was just trying to help Donald, and instead of gratitude, he let his people beat us up. They’re nothing but brutes!”


    Christopher sighed heavily, adding, “Mom… I finally understand the saying aboutpanions being like tigers. We can’t associate with someone like Donald anymore; we need to keep our distance!”


    Lady Wilson, anxious and confused, pressed for details: “What on earth happened? Please tell me everything!”


    Christopher then recounted the events. It became clear to Lady Wilson that when they had been dealing with the kidnapping of ine, they inadvertently got involved with an international fraudster.


    To make matters worse, Donald, cunning as he was, had also fallen victim to this fraudster. In a misguided attempt to impress him, he had allowed his men to harm her son and grandson.


    As the realization sank in, Lady Wilson was ovee with grief, crying out in despair, “How can this be? If you hadn’t interfered with ine’s situation today, that fraudster would have taken her family apart! You tried to help her, but instead, you brought this trouble upon yourselves. Rather than being harmed, you ended up aiding Interpol in catching the fraudster, which ironically helped ine escape her predicament…”


    Harold, realizing the absurdity of their situation, cried even harder,menting, “I can’t believe we ended up losing everything for ine. This is the biggest loss I’ve ever faced! I, Harold, have never endured such a thing in my life! Wendy, please p me twice; I need to feel something other than this difort…”


    Wendy tried to console him, saying, “Brother, it’s already happened. Don’t dwell on it. The important thing now is whether you and Dad will be okay and can recover…”


    Harold choked back tears as he replied, “We can heal, but it will take time. The doctor said we won’t be able to care for ourselves for several months. We’ll need to eat, drink, and sleep in bed, likely staying in the hospital with a caregiver…”


    Lady Wilson quickly asked, “Harold, what about Mr. Webb? Didn’t he provide anypensation after being fooled by the scammer?”


    “Compensation? Forget it!” Christopher snapped, anger ring. “That old dog Donald was arrested by Interpol! He’s in deep trouble!”
