In the western suburbs of Tokyo, along Panshan Road in West Domo County, two men dressed in ck gazed down from the cliff where Jasmine had fallen. Below, a fire flickered ominously, and one of the men whispered, “Surely, the people in the car must be dead by now, right?”


    The other man scoffed, “A fall from this height,bined with that fire? If that doesn’t do the trick, I’ll personally take off your head!”


    With a chuckle, the first man replied, “Then you can go back to Mr. Hashimoto.”


    Nodding, the second man added, “Let’s make sure to clean up this scene quickly. We need to get rid of any debris, ss fragments, and tire marks so that no one suspects an ident when dawn breaks.”<fn09e9> ?????? ???? f?i?n?d?n?o?v?e?l?</fn09e9>

    Immediately, a group of men in ck set to work clearing the area.


    Meanwhile, the leader pulled out his cell phone and dialed Hashimoto Kensen. “Mr. Hashimoto, we’re almost finished here. We’ll leave once the scene is cleared.”


    Hashimoto, almost impatiently, asked, “Is thedy dead? Have you confirmed her identity yet?”


    The manughed. “I can’t say for certain without seeing a body. This cliff is several hundred meters high; even if Amaterasu Daijin himself fell, he’d be done for.”


    Hashimoto clicked his tongue in frustration. “Without seeing the body myself, I still have my doubts.”


    The man reassured him, “Don’t worry, Mr. Hashimoto. The car rolled to the bottom of the cliff with her inside, and from my vantage point, it’spletely engulfed in mes. If Amaterasu Daijin was in there, he’d be reduced to ashes.”


    Hashimoto Konzen couldn’t resist aint. “Why do you keep joking about Amaterasu Daijin? Don’t you fear divine retribution?”


    With augh, the man responded, “Fear? I’m a man of many sins. If there were truly an Amaterasu Great God, I’d have been struck down by now. My continued existence is proof that no deity exists!”


    Hashimoto sighed. “Alright, I won’t argue with you. Just make sure she’s dead. I trust youpletely.”


    The man replied with an “hmmm,” saying, “Okay, just remember to send my final payment to my house. I want old, unmarked bills.”


    Hashimoto quickly assured him, “No problem, I’ll have it sent to you by morning!”


    “Alright, I’m hanging up now!”

    Meanwhile, in the valley, Jasmine was still struggling to find her way.
