The Amazing son in law Chapter 2097

In that moment, Rueben felt as if his entire perspective on life, his values, and his worldview had beenpletely shaken.

He never imagined that Charlie would manage to form a rtionship with the eldest sister of the Ito family.

What was even more astonishing was the sight before him: the Ito family’s eldest sister was gracefully d in a kimono, kneeling across from Charlie and serving him tea with utmost respect, as if she were a servant.

    This was simply unbelievable!

Inside, Rueben was in turmoil, thinking, “What in the world is going on? Do the Japanese also practice Feng Shui? How else could Charlie have gotten involved with Nanako?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Just as his mind raced with shock and disbelief, Charlie noticed him enter. With a warm smile, he waved and called out, “Oh Rueben,e on over, hurry and take a seat!”

Rueben looked at Charlie’sposed demeanor and felt even more perplexed. “Charlie is so close to Jasmine, yet she’s been gone for so long. Why is Charlie in Tokyo, calmly enjoying tea in the Ito family’s mansion instead of searching for her?”

Despite his confusion, Rueben approached Charlie with a forced smile and said respectfully, “Greetings, Master Wade!”

Then, turning to Nanako, he added politely, “Hello Miss Ito, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I hope you’ll be kind to me!”

With a gentle smile, Nanako Ito responded, “Lord Moore, you know of me?”

Rueben nodded, “You’re quite well-known; how could I not be aware of you?”

Nanako smiled warmly and extended her hand, saying, “Lord Moore, please take a seat and experience the Japanese tea ceremony. I hope it suits your taste.”

Rueben quickly waved his hand and replied, “Miss Ito, you are too gracious. I havee here to follow Master Wade’s instructions, so it’s perfectly fine for me to stand.”

Charlie waved dismissively, “Alright, Rueben, I’m well-acquainted with your grandfather, so there’s no need for such formality. Since Miss Ito has invited you to sit, you should take her up on it.”

Charlie’s tone made Rueben feel ufortable; he sensed a hint of condescension in Charlie’s words, which made him uneasy. However, he knew better than to defy Charlie, especially since he was a valued guest of the Ito family, whose influence was significant.

So, with a respectful demeanor, he replied, “Since Master Wade has suggested it, I’ll dly follow your lead.”

With that, he settled down next to Charlie.

As Rueben sat cross-legged, his heart raced with apprehension, his mind swirling with questions about Charlie’s true intentions.<fn18e8> Updates are released by find{n}ovel</fn18e8>

At that moment, Charlie spoke up and asked, “Rueben, what do you know about Jasmine’s situation? Fill me in.”

Rueben’s heart skipped a beat, but he tried to maintain a calm exterior as he exined, “Master Wade, here’s the situation: not long ago, Jasmine aimed to establish a partnership with New Japan Railway. She traveled to Japan to initiate negotiations. However,st night, a tragic incident urred. Themercial vehicle she was in fell off a cliff in the mountains of West Domo County. The other three passengers died on the spot, and Jasmine is currently missing…”

Charlie nodded thoughtfully and looked at him, then asked, “What did the Tokyo Police Department report?”
