    Meanwhile, Jasmine stepped onto the deck, her expression one of surprise as she asked Charlie, “Master Wade, are these people here for me?”


    Charlie responded with a shake of his head, saying, “No, they’re here for me.”


    Jasmine’s surprise deepened when she noticed Xion, who was immobilized with a crossbow arrow lodged in her leg. She turned to Charlie and asked, “Master Wade, who is this woman?”


    Charlie nced at Xion and offered a slight smile: “This lovelydy, who was once my adversary, can no longer be considered one.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">


    He then raised his eyebrows at Xion and yfully inquired, “Am I right, little beauty?”


    Xion felt a flush of embarrassment. Although she hade to understand the true nature of the Banks Family and recognized that Charlie had saved her life, her feelings toward him were stillplicated. After all, he had been the one to inform the Japanese Self-Defense Forces about her and herrades.
