He was the elderly housekeeper of the Thorne Family in Aurous Hill.
Deana first encountered this old housekeeper during her youth. For the past twenty years, he has been dedicated to maintaining the old family home in Aurous Hill. Since marrying into the Banks Family, Deana and the housekeeper had lost touch.
However, upon seeing him, Deana instantly recognized him and respectfully greeted, “Uncle White, I’m here safe and sound!”
She then quickly instructed the two children beside her, “Fitz, Zara, this is Grandpa White. Say hello!”
Fitz and Zara promptly replied, “Hello, Grandpa White!” The old housekeeper bowed gratefully to Deana and, somewhat ttered, said, “I didn’t think the seconddy would remember me.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Deana smiled and replied, “Why wouldn’t I? You were in charge of the mansion next to Prince Charles’ Mansion in Eastcliff. After your father donated it to the state as a museum, you came to Aurous Hill.”
The old housekeeper nodded, feeling nostalgic. “When I moved to Aurous Hill, I returned to Eastcliff twice a year to report to my master. Each time, I was in such a rush that I never got the chance to see you again.”
He sighed, “Oh, Deana, it’s been over 20 years since youst visited Aurous Hill, hasn’t it? I remember you woulde every year to see the Lady, but then you stoppeding.”
Deana confirmed, “Ever since Bruce passed away in Aurous Hill, I haven’t returned.”
The old housekeeper looked surprised and sighed, “Young Master Bruce was indeed a remarkable talent.”
Deana inquired, “By the way, Uncle White, you were present before Bruce’s ident in Aurous Hill. Do you know what happened back then?”
The old housekeeper’s expression grew serious. “When Mr. Bruce came to Aurous Hill, the master told me that he might be having some family conflicts and was feeling a lot of pressure from the Eastcliff side. He wanted to rx, so I was instructed to invite Mr. Bruce and his family to stay in the old house for a few days, to make it their home if they wished.”
Deana quickly asked, “Did they ept the invitation when they arrived?”
The old housekeeper shook his head. “Bruce’s son came to visit, but it was just a brief visit. He thanked me but decided not to stay.”
Curious, Deana pressed further, “What did he say?” The old butler thought for a moment, then replied, “Lord Bruce mentioned he had his own issues to deal with and didn’t want to trouble the Thorne Family. He thanked me and left.”
Deana nodded thoughtfully, a look of mncholy crossing her face. The old housekeeper then interjected, “Miss Deana, let’s pause our conversation for now. The car is waiting outside; we should head home!”
Deana agreed, “Alright, Uncle White, let’s go home.”
Outside the airport, three cars were parked in a row.
Deana instructed Fitz and Zara, “You two take the back car. I’ll sit in the middle car and chat with Grandpa White.” The siblings readilyplied.
The old housekeeper opened the back door of the red-g car in the middle for Deana. Once she was inside, he took the front passenger seat.
As the convoy departed the airport, Deana asked the old butler, “Uncle White, I’d like to ask you something.” The old butler responded eagerly, “Of course, Miss Deana, feel free to ask!”
Deana continued, “I heard that Bruce came to Aurous Hill with his wife and children. Since he didn’t want to stay in our old house, where did he end up residing?”
The old housekeeper exined, “Young Master Bruce had a fondness for the old mansion. He asked me to help him find a ce, so I enlisted a friend to locate a slightly remote old mansion. It once belonged to a military ruler, but after he fled, it became neglected. Mr. Bruce loved it, so he purchased it and renovated it himself.”<fn80dc> For more chapters visit Find~Novel</fn80dc>
