Currently, the inpatient department of Aurous Hill People’s Hospital is bustling with activity. As the premier general hospital in Aurous Hill and throughout the province, it is perpetually crowded. Every department is filled to capacity, and there are many patients at home waiting for a hospital bed to be avable for their treatment.
Inside the intensive care unit of the Nephrology Department lies a man in his fifties, unconscious and connected to a multitude of tubes. Beside him sits a middle-aged woman, who bears a striking resemnce to Doris Young.
Adjacent to the intensive care room is a small lounge area for families, designed to offerfort during such critical times. This intensive care unit is equipped with some of the best facilities avable, resembling a hotel suite in itsyout.
At this moment, in the meeting room, two young individuals stand facing each other. One is Doris Young, the vice chairman of the Emgrand Group, while the other is a blond man with a hooked nose.
As Doris Young ended her call with Charlie, the man with the hooked nose addressed her in a less-than-perfect Mandarin, grinning as he spoke: “Ms. Young, I believe my uncle’s condition won’t remain critical for too long.
