Lord Banks was in disbelief. His second son had just arrived in Aurous Hill and hadn’t even spent the night before he mysteriously vanished.     On the other end of the line, Mr. Hett let out a heavy sigh and spoke with regret: “Master, I was on the same floor as Master James, keeping an eye out for any disturbances. Yet, he seemed to vanish into thin air from his room. This entire situation is so bizarre that it’s hard to believe.”


    He quickly added, “Not only is Master James missing, but so is his new friend.”


    Lord Banks immediately inquired, “A new friend? What do you mean by that?”


    Elder Hett exined hurriedly, “He’s an American that Master James met at the airport. His family has ties to the Rothschild family, and since they were staying at the same hotel, Master James invited him to stay next door.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">


    Lord Banks blurted out, “Could this American have taken him?”


    “Not likely,” Hett replied. “I’ve observed the American closely. He appears to be an ordinary middle-aged man without any noticeable skills or abilities, so it’s improbable that he is involved.”


    Frowning, Lord Banks responded coldly, “This whole situation is even stranger. It’s already a challenge for one person to disappear without a trace, let alone two!”


    Elder Hett quickly asserted, “Yes, sir. I suspect that whoever is behind this must be an extraordinary master!”


    With rising anxiety, Lord Banks asked, “How can such a powerful individual exist in a small ce like Aurous Hill? You’ve been among martial artists for years. Have you ever heard of any masters appearing here?”


    “Never,” Elder Hett replied honestly. “To be frank, Aurous Hill doesn’t even have a martial arts family that is noteworthy.”


    “This is even more unsettling,” Lord Banks thought, feeling a wave of panic wash over him. Rubbing his temples in frustration, he said, “Aurous Hill feels cursed. Deana and Zara are still missing, and now James has vanished even with protection. It’s as if something sinister is at y.”


    Elder Hett quickly added, “Master, there’s more. The American that Master James met came to Aurous Hill to search for his son, who has also disappeared along with a dozen of his subordinates, leaving no trace behind.”


    Chills ran down Lord Banks’s spine as he contemted the situation. He couldn’t fathom what kind of formidable figure could be lurking in the shadows, possessing such incredible power.


    Urgently, hemanded, “Old Hett, I don’t care what it takes, but you must find James. If you can’t locate him, don’te back.” He then nced over at Lord Thorne, who had approached, and added, “We need to find Deana and Zara too!
