The Amazing son in law Chapter 2501

It was early morning in Aurous Hill when Cynthia Wade stepped out of a dark alley, feeling lighter in body but heavy in spirit after shedding at least a dozen pounds. Just five minutes earlier, Don Albert’s men had opened her door and informed her that she was free to leave. In that moment, tears streamed down Cynthia’s face; she was utterly exhausted from her time in Aurous Hill, a bleak and damp city that felt more like a prison than a ce to stay. After days in this rundown area, she could still smell the mustiness clinging to her, making her feel nauseous. Although she could have left sooner, Charlie had kept her there longer than necessary, extending her stay by an additional week. Now, it was technically past early morning, meaning she was still overdue. But this time around, Cynthia had learned her lesson; she refrained from yelling at Charlie or even at the guards who had been watching over her. So, when she finally received permission to go, she didn’t hesitate and rushed out.

Once outside, however, she quickly realized she had no idea where to go in the early hours. Her instinct was to return to Eastcliff immediately, but with no flights avable at this hour, she faced a dilemma. If she wanted her private jet toe from Eastcliff, it would take at least two or three hours to arrive. Where would she spend those hours?

In a moment of desperation, she called Isaac Cameron, hoping he would have a private jet in Aurous Hill to fly her back. To her frustration, though, she found that Isaac’s phone was turned off. Knowing that Don Albert was releasing Cynthia that very night, Isaac had preemptively set his phone to Do Not Disturb mode. In this mode, only Charlie could reach him; all other calls were blocked.

Cynthia, unable to get through, muttered angrily to herself, “Damn you, Isaac Cameron! I bet you’re avoiding me on purpose!”

Yet, she realized she had no time for anger; getting back to Eastcliff was her top priority. She quickly initiated a video call to her father, Lord Wade. By this hour, the elderly man had already drifted into sleep, and when he answered, he appeared groggy. “Cynthia, what’s going on at thiste hour?” he asked.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

With tears in her eyes, Cynthia replied, “Dad! That little bastard Charlie finally let me go, but I can’t get back to Eastcliff! Isaac Cameron’s phone is off. Please, can you arrange a ne to pick me up?”

Lord Wade responded calmly, “Charlie has set you free? Just take a taxi to the airport, and I’ll organize a ne toe get you.”

Cynthia protested, “Dad! Don’t make me take a taxi! I’ve never done that before. Taxis are awful! They’re worth less than the tires on my car, and the people in them are just as low-quality. It’s disgusting!”

With a sigh, Lord Wade replied, “Cynthia! You’ve been living in a filthy and rundown vige for days now. Are you really afraid of taking a taxi?”

Cynthia cried out, “Dad! I came to Aurous Hill because you asked me to, but I’ve faced hardships here that I’ve never experienced in my life!”

Feeling a headacheing on, Lord Wade tried to reason with her, “Alright, just tell me what you need without all the drama. At your age, you shouldn’t be crying. It won’t solve anything.”

He yawned, feeling the fatigue of old age weighing on him. “I’m so tired. If I don’t get enough sleep, it really affects my health. I’m going to sleep now, but you can take a taxi to the airport,” he said before ending the call.<fn8f2e> This content belongs to </fn8f2e>
