2
Chapter 2602

Charlie began, “There’s no need for formalities. I’m calling to discuss something important with you.”
Doris Young quickly replied, “Master, please don’t hesitate! If you have any questions, I’m here to help in any way I can.”

Charlie continued, “I’m interested in exploring the ocean shipping industry. The Ito family in Japan has extensive resources and support, and since I have sufficient funds avable, I want to seize this opportunity.”
“However, I’m facing a challenge in finding the right person to lead this project. Do you have any rmendations, or could you assist temporarily?”
“If you’re willing, I assure you that thepensation will be generous, and I will ensure you’re satisfied.”
Upon hearing this, Doris Young responded earnestly, “Master, if you need me, I’m willing to do whatever it takes. However…”
She paused for a moment before adding, “With arge project like ocean shipping, if approached carelessly, the initial investment would be in the tens of billions. It’s a significant undertaking…”
“Although I’ve excelled at Emgrand Group, my expertise lies mainly inmercial real estate development. I’m not well-versed in the ocean shipping industry nor in international trade regtions.”
“Especially since Ick knowledge about import and export regtions and tax policies in various countries. If you assign me this project, it might take years for me to grasp all the necessary conditions and assemble a capable team…”
Understanding her concerns, Charlie asked, “So you think I should seek out a specialist?”
Doris Young affirmed, “Absolutely. The ocean shipping industry requires connections with major trading nations globally.”
“Japan and South Korea are the closest, followed by oil-rich nations in the Middle East, Australia, and then Europe and North America.”
“This is merely a broad overview. While the demand from smaller countries may not be substantial individually, cumtively, it’s considerable.”
“To seed in this business, you must first understand the local policies and have ess to local resources to quickly establish connections with the government and ports.”
“Thus, this task is best suited for professionals in the field.”
Charlie inquired, “Do you have anyone in mind you could rmend?”
Doris Young pondered for a moment before saying, “To be honest, I do have an ideal candidate, but I’m uncertain if he’s interested.”
Charlie pressed, “Who is it? If he’s a good fit, I’d like to reach out to him.”
Doris Young replied seriously, “He was my professor during my studies in the United States. He recently resigned and is now teaching at Aurous Hill University of Finance and Economics.”
Charlie was taken aback and eximed, “Are you referring to someone named Hank?!”
Doris Young responded eagerly, “Master, do you know Professor Hank?!”
Charlie smiled and said, “I just met himst night, though I didn’t have much interaction.”
Doris Young was quick to say, “That’s wonderful! Professor Hank is truly remarkable!”
“He’s a top graduate in economics and management. Before teaching at MIT, he worked in Silicon Valley and then on Wall Street, holding high-ranking positions in Fortune 500panies.”
“With 20 years of impable experience, he eventually resigned from Wall Street to teach at MIT.” After a brief pause, she continued, “Master, based on what I know about Professor Hank, there’s likely no one else in China with his level of expertise!”
“Additionally, he has spent years in multinational corporations, traveling across continents, giving him a deep understanding of the policies in major trading countries and extensive local resources.”
“If you can persuade him to join you, your business will be able tounch swiftly and grow rapidly!”
