The Amazing son inw Chapter 2610 (Charlie Wade)

    2
CHAPTER 2610

Hank sighed as he reminisced, “Your mother was a remarkable figure at Stanford during her time! She wasn’t just the top Chinese female student in the university’s history; she also served as the president of the Stanford Chinese Alumni Association and was a pioneer behind the Stanford Inte Venture Capital Fund. Many leading techpanies in Silicon Valley owe their sess to the initial funding she provided.”

He continued, a touch of mncholy in his voice, “Back in those days, my mother truly was the most influential woman at Stanford and in Silicon Valley.”

“She was not only stunning and sophisticated but also incredibly knowledgeable and capable. Her family background was affluent, which contributed to her relentless work ethic and impressive aplishments. I have onlye across one person in my life who could rival her, and that was your mother. All of our peers, including those pretentious ssmates, were overshadowed by her presence,” Hank reflected. “There was a saying at Stanford that among all the entrepreneurial minds in Silicon Valley, at least one-third of the men were enamored with your mother. It may sound like an exaggeration, but during that era, her name was known by everyone in Silicon Valley—everyone held her in high regard.”

This was the first time Charlie had heard such stories about his mother.

Since he was born after his mother had already transitioned into his father’s confidante, Charlie had never perceived her as a business elite. Furthermore, he wasrgely unaware of her past aplishments, as she had always been modest and refrained from discussing her achievements with him.

Intrigued by Hank’s tales, Charlie inquired, “Professor Hank, do you have more stories about my mother?”

Hank replied earnestly, “Oh, there’s so much to share. A single night wouldn’t suffice.”

As he spoke, a wave of sadness washed over Hank. “After your mother’s incident in Aurous Hill, numerous ssmates chartered a flight to search for you. I was among them. Despite being from Aurous Hill myself and leveraging every connection I could muster, we were unable to locate you.”

“Eventually, over 300 members of our Stanford Alumni Association and nearly 100 of your mother’s venture capital friends in Silicon Valley coborated to track you down globally. After a decade of searching, we still had no leads on where you had been all those years.”

Charlie was taken aback by the dedication of his mother’s ssmates and friends who had spent ten years searching for him after the tragedy struck his family.

Feeling emotional, he responded, “Professor Hank, the truth is, I’ve been in Aurous Hill all these years.”

He proceeded to exin to Hank how he had been hiding in the orphanage.

Hank sighed again, taken aback. “I had no idea you were here all along.”

Charlie then asked, “Professor, do you know anything about my father?”

Hank shook his head. “When your father was with your mother, he didn’t keep in touch with us. We only knew he was the young master of the Wade family, but details were scarce. My wife and I had intended to attend your parents’ wedding in Eastcliff, but some unforeseen circumstances prevented us from going.”

He continued, “The distance between the U.S. and China is significant. If I recall correctly, I only met your mother three times after she and your father returned to China and before her incident in Aurous Hill. Once, she brought you to Stanford.”
