Hank was taken aback when he heard Ziva Hank’s words.

Upon seeing her face, he eximed in disbelief, “Ziva?! Is that really you?!”

Despite Ziva Hank standing right in front of him,

Hank’s heart was filled with skepticism. He couldn’t fathom that the woman before him was truly his daughter.

In his mind, he firmly believed that Ziva was still in Syria.

There was no way she could suddenly appear before him.

Especially since he had just spoken with Charlie,

who also hadn’t seen her recently.

Furthermore, the U.S. had not sent anyone to rescue her, meaning the Syrian opposition forces holding her had no intention of letting her go.

Even if, hypothetically speaking, the Syrian rebels showed mercy,

there was no way she could arrive in Aurous Hill so soon.

Thus, at that moment, Hank thought he was experiencing a time warp and felt utterly lost as to how to respond.

When Ziva Hank saw her father, she was initially filled with excitement and gratitude,

but she felt a pang of disappointment when her father failed to recognize her.

She red at Hank and said, “I’m right here in front of you,

how can you not believe me?”

Hank quickly responded, “I believe you! I really do…but how did you end up in Aurous Hill?!

    This…this is impossible!”

Ziva Hank shook her head in frustration and turned to Charlie, who was leaning against the wall.<fn5c74> ??? ????? ???????s ??? ?????s??? ?? Find[?]ovel</fn5c74>

She told her father, “If you want to know how I got to Aurous Hill, just ask him.”

Hank, still processing everything, stepped outside to see Charlie had just removed his mask and was looking back at him.

Charlie noticed Hank’s shock and uncertainty, smiled, and waved, saying, “Hi, Uncle Hank.”

“Charlie?!” Hank was even more astonished and quickly inquired, “What… what is happening?!”

Charlie smiled and asked, “Can we go inside to talk?”

Hank finally snapped back to reality and eximed, “Come in!”

Charlie and Ziva Hank entered Hank’s office together, where Hank ushered Ziva to sit on the sofa with him.

Charlie held up his mask and chuckled, “Looks like this thing isn’t much use to me.”

Hank, impatient to know the details, urged, “Please, tell me what’s going on! Didn’t you just say she was in Syria?

Did you two conspire to deceive me?”

Charlie grinned and replied, “I just wanted to surprise you!”

Hank eximed, “Surprise! It truly is a surprise! This is fantastic!”

He then pressed for more information, “Quickly, tell me how you made it back.

How did you return so swiftly? Was everything alright?”

Charlie smiled and exined, “It didn’t start off well, but it soon went smoothly.

I met with themander of the opposition forces over there, and we became friends. He was pleased to see me,

so he agreed to let Ziva go.”

Hank quickly turned to Ziva Hank and asked, “Ziva, you weren’t harmed while you were there, right?”

Ziva Hank shifted her position slightly and replied, “They initially locked us in a cer

and really intended to kill us, but thankfully, MR. Wade rescued us just in time,

or else we would have been executed one by one…”

Hank expressed immense gratitude to Charlie, saying, “Charlie, bringing Ziva back safely means the world to me.

I owe you my life! From now on, consider my life yours; just say the word, and I’ll do anything!

If I hesitate even a moment, the heavens will strike me down!”

Charlie quickly reassured him, saying, “Uncle Hank, it’s not like that. I just helped a little. Besides, you are a good friend of my mother,

so it’s only right that I assist you!”

Upon hearing this, Ziva Hank eximed, “Dad! Isn’t MR. Wade the son of Aunt Ava you often talk about?!”

“Yes!” Hank confirmed, nodding. “He is indeed Aunt Ava’s son, Charlie!”

With excitement in her eyes, Ziva Hank turned to Charlie and said:

“MR. Wade, your mother is my biggest idol! I have decided to go to Stanford!”<h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
