“Alright,” Charlie replied nonchntly, “Isn’t that just a sentence?”

Stefanie Sun nodded, recalling something important, and quickly asked, “By the way, Charlie, how is Rishab doing now? What did you do to him that made him decide to leave the entertainment industry?”

“Well,” Charlie said casually, “I asked Don Albert to set him up for a fishing trip first.”

“What?!” Stefanie Sun eximed in surprise. “Going out to sea to fish? Didn’t his agency announce that he’s going to study abroad?”

Charlie smiled and replied, “Study abroad? His liver must be hurting from all the excitement! I arranged a three-year internship for him as a seafarer, and he won’t be able to disembark during that time. He’s probably already in the South China Sea, starting his fishing internship.”

Stefanie Sunughed and eximed, “Charlie, you’re quite harsh! Why make him a seaman?”

In a joking tone, Charlie exined, “Well, there are just too many people at the dog farm right now. It’s still expanding, so he’s actually quite lucky.”

Stefanie Sun looked puzzled and asked, “Charlie, what do you mean by a kennel? What does living in a kennel mean?”

Charlie waved his hand dismissively, saying, “It’s nothing; it’s not something for you to worry about. It’s best if you don’t understand too much.”

Stefanie Sun stuck her tongue out yfully and replied, “Alright, I won’t pry any further.”

Afterward, Stefanie Sun inquired again, “By the way, Charlie, are you going back to Eastcliff for the ancestor worship ceremony during the Festival?”

Charlie nodded and asked, “What’s on your mind?”<fn989f> Discover more novels at find?novel</fn989f>

“Nothing much,” Stefanie Sun replied. “Isn’t the Festival in April? That means there are just over 20 days left. In other words, I’ll be able to see you in Eastcliff again soon.”

Charlie smiled slightly, “Yes, I’ll definitely visit you, Uncle Orrin, and Aunt Angie then.”

Stefanie Sun added, “Your timing is perfect because I’m heading to the United States in mid-April.”

“Going to America?” Charlie asked, intrigued. “What’s the sudden trip for?”

“It’s not sudden,” Stefanie Sun rified. “I n to leave the entertainment industry, so I want to hold a few more concerts as a way to thank my fans. I have a lot of fans in Europe, America, Japan, and Korea, many of whom are of Chinese descent. So in addition to concerts in China and Taiwan, I have arrangements in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Houston from mid-April to the end of April. I’ll also perform in Seattle and then move on to Japan and South Korea for three shows each.”

Charlie wondered aloud, “Why not finish the Asian performances before heading to Europe and the U.S.? It seems like quite a hassle to go back and forth.”

Stefanie Sun smiled and said, “My parents are going to the U.S. for business in April, so I thought I’d join them.”

Then she asked, “Charlie, do you want toe along?”

Charlie shook his head and smiled, “I can’t go. I have a lot on my te here in Aurous Hill. The Ocean Shipping Group is likely to start up in April, so I won’t be able to get away.”

Stefanie Sun nodded, expressing some disappointment. “I just feel a bit out of ce in the U.S. since it’s unfamiliar to me. It’sforting to have my parents with me. It would be even better if you could join us, but I understand you have yourmitments.”

Charlie reassured her, “Even though the U.S. is far, it only takes twelve hours to fly there. Besides, you’ll be performing for overseas Chinese, so you don’t need to worry about feeling out of ce.”

“True,” Stefanie Sun replied, then asked, “Charlie, don’t you want to visit the U.S.?”

Charlie shook his head again, saying, “What’s there for me to see in America?”

Stefanie Sun replied, “You could visit your grandparents. I heard from my mom that they are still alive.”

Charlie paused for a moment, then smiled awkwardly and said, “I don’t want to bother them. I barely saw them as a child, and I doubt they have any feelings for me. I wouldn’t want to impose.”

There was a thought that Charlie kept to himself.

He had always been unaware of much of his mother’s background and had only met his grandparents when he was very young, so there was no emotional bond between them. Additionally, after meeting Hank, he learned that his mother’s family was actually much more influential than the Wade family. His grandparents had never been pleased with her choice to marry his father and move back to China.

It seemed that his mother had experienced considerable conflict with her family over this decision.

With his mother now gone, Charlie felt that visiting his grandparents after twenty years of separation would only create awkwardness.

Therefore, Charlie believed it was a mark of respect not to disturb them.
The Amazing son inw Chapter 3126

The Amazing son inw Chapter 3127

The Amazing son inw Chapter 3126-3127
