Lord Wade surveyed the eager faces before him and sighed softly. He understood that these individuals had a limited grasp of Charlie’s true nature, and he was concerned that when Charlie returned, they would scramble to protect their own interests. Thus, he opted to speak in a way that would deflect attention from his own thoughts.

Yet, how could a cunning old fox like him be swayed by the opinions of others? Only two members of the Wade Family were privy to Charlie’s real capabilities. One of them was Cynthia Wade, who had some insights, while Lord Wade himself had a deeper understanding.

After Cynthia’s unfortunate encounter with ine in Aurous Hill and her subsequent kidnapping by Christopher Wilson and his sons, Charlie revealed some of his exploits in her presence. He spoke of healing the dying Orrin Sun, defeating the eight kings, and even assisting the Ito family to emerge victorious amidst the chaos in Japan.

Lord Wade was also aware of Charlie’s remarkable feats, such as infiltrating Syria alone to rescue a woman from an enemy base, and effortlessly capturing Zayne to bring him back to Syria. Just two days prior, Charlie had ventured back into Syria and managed to retrieve Zayne amidst the turmoil.

Furthermore, reports had surfaced recently about a group named Wanlongdian suffering a significant defeat in Syria, and Lord Wade suspected that Charlie might be connected to this incident as well.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Whenpared to Zhao Yun, who had made seven forays in and out of Changbanpo, Charlie’s skills appeared even more impressive. However, he had never shared these aplishments with the rest of the family.

The reason for his silence was that he hadn’t yet discerned Charlie’s preferences. If Charlie was the type to enjoy recognition and wished to maintain his reputation, revealing his actions would earn him the family’s admiration and ttery, which could be satisfying for everyone involved.

Unfortunately, Charlie was known for his extreme low-key demeanor. If the Wade Family were to learn of his abilities and he felt slighted by them, it could lead to a rift between him and the family.

As for Cynthia Wade, despite her knowledge, she chose not to share it with her brothers and sisters, as deep down, she hoped to see the rest of the Wade Family look down on Charlie. Cynthia had not yet divorced her husband, and with his family facing difficulties, she was eager to im a share of the Wade Family’s assets.

The more the family disagreed, the more she anticipated seeing the brothers and their offspring turn against each other. If they became aware of Charlie’s talents and feared him, they would be less likely to oppose him. And if there was no conflict, how could she, a daughter long married, expect to im her stake in the Wade Family?

At that moment, Lord Wade grew weary of the nder being directed at Charlie and spoke sternly: “Enough! I refuse to listen to your words any longer. From this point forward, if anyone dares to speak ill of Charlie in my presence, I will not hesitate to respond harshly!”

Seeing that the elder remained resolute, Jon Wade interjected: “Grandpa, I understand your feelings towards Charlie, but you cannot be too lenient with him!”

He quickly added, “He has been away from the Wade Family for many years. Not only did he not attend school, but he alsocks basic manners and education. Just the other day, my aunt kindly traveled to Aurous Hill to assist him with his marriage issues, yet he ended up putting her under house arrest in a rundown area during the New Year. Does he not recognize the importance of respect for his elders? If you expect him to return to the Wade household, you must impose some rules!”

Turning to Cynthia Wade, he provocatively suggested, “Auntie, considering how Charlie has treated you, do you not think it’s time to establish some guidelines for him?”

Cynthia, startled by his remarks, quickly waved her hand in disagreement, “Please, let’s not go there. When I visited Aurous Hill, I made mistakes myself. It’s no wonder Charlie reacted the way he did; I should have been more thoughtful…”

Jon Wade looked at her, astonished, as his jaw nearly dropped. He thought to himself, “Is this really my aunt, who has always been so domineering in Eastcliff? Everyone knows her reputation! After suffering such a significant loss to Charlie, why has she not sought revenge?”<fn515e> For original chapters go to find?novel</fn515e><h2 ss="wp-block-heading">The Amazing son inw Chapter 3536</h2><h3 ss="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading"><strong></strong>
