“Snakes, worms, rats, and ants?!”
Jack Yaleman II frowned, suddenly feeling a wave of nervousness wash over him.
What troubled him most was the possibility that Charlie’s words held real significance.
“Could it be that my blood mosquito was truly in his hands?!”
“But… that shouldn’t be the case… If my blood mosquito had indeed perished at his hands, I would have felt something, not to mention the mosquito itself. The creature’s belly is filled with corrupt and highly toxic blood. If it were killed here, the scent of blood would be overwhelming, yet there’s not a trace of it here, almost as if the blood mosquito had never been present at all…”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
With these thoughts in mind, Jack Yaleman II tried to reassure himself: “Although there must be some error in the chain of events, it likely has nothing to do with this Wade fellow!”
He snorted derisively, nced at Charlie, and asked, “What’s this? You’re telling me that if there’s a disaster of blood light, I should be wary of snakes, worms, rats, and ants?”
“Yes,” Charlie replied, nodding with a smile. “Don’t underestimate these creatures; if you encounter a formidable opponent, it could be deadly.”
Yaleman II scoffed, “You really know how to exploit loopholes. The weather here on Hong Kong Ind is hot and humid, attracting countless mosquitoes, making it nearly impossible to avoid them. You im I’m facing a bloody disaster—are you suggesting I might be bitten by a mosquito?” He turned to Fei Kexin, standing nearby, and asked, “Miss Fei, let’s be fair: with so many mosquitoes around, if being bitten constitutes a bloody disaster, how could anyone on this ind escape?”
Fei Kexin replied, “I believe that Mr. Wade did not mean it in that way.”
Charlie interjected seriously, “Miss Fei, that’s exactly what I mean. I’ve calcted that Mr. Yaleman II’s disaster of blood light is indeed caused by mosquitoes.”
Jack Yaleman II sneered, “There are mosquitoes everywhere on Hong Kong Ind; how could this be considered a disaster of blood light?”
Recalling something, he provocatively asked Fei Kexin, “Miss Fei, since you’re here, there must be plenty of mosquitoes in the vi, right?”
“Mosquitoes?” Fei Kexin furrowed her brow, sounding doubtful. “I haven’t noticed any mosquitoes around here.”<fn2a61> Th?s chapter is updated by find{n}ovel</fn2a61>
Jack Yaleman II felt even more perplexed, thinking, “Fei Kexin has been with Charlie the whole time. If she hasn’t seen any mosquitoes, then my blood mosquitoes can’t be in this Wade guy’s possession… But where could they have gone? Why can’t I find any trace of them?”
Just as he was lost in thought, Charlie smiled slightly and said with seriousness, “Mr. Yaleman II, considering your father’s previous connections, if you kneel and bow to me three times, I might show you mercy and help you ovee this cmity!”
Damn it…” Jack Yaleman II cursed inwardly. “Isn’t that what I just told him? How dare he use my own words to humiliate me?!”
Fuming with anger, Jack Yaleman II retorted, “Wade, it seems you really are clueless. In that case, I’ll wait for the moment you kneel and plead for mercy!”
With that, he angrily turned to leave, preparing to storm out.
At that moment, Charlie had a thought, and suddenly, over twenty gigantic creatures surged out from a nearby ceramic bottle. The massive, wasp-like mosquitoes were as thick as an adult’s little finger and looked terrifying.
One of the unique traits of these blood mosquitoes is that they fly almost silently, which is why neither Fei Kexin nor Jack Yaleman II noticed their presence.
Moreover, the blood mosquitoes were enveloped in Charlie’s aura, preventing any scent of blood from escaping, allowing Jack Yaleman II to remain unaware of them.<h3 ss="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
