The female police officer cast a sympathetic nce at ine before, along with her colleagues, escorting her to the police station located near the airport terminal.
As ine endured the pain of what she believed was a broken rib, she cried and screamed, desperate for medical attention. The policewoman calmly replied, “It’s just a broken rib. There’s no need to go to the hospital. Our healthcare doctor will see you shortly. It’s a simple procedure, and you’ll just need to take some oral anti-inmmatory medication.”
In tears, ine protested, “Are youpletelycking inpassion? I want to file aint! No, wait! I’ll sue you. I demand 10 to 20 million dors, or I won’t let this go!” Suddenly, she recalled something and raised her voice intentionally:
“A few years back, a Vietnamese-American was forcibly removed from one of your flights, and I’ve heard online that he ended up losing 140 million dors!” The policewoman responded dismissively, “First of all, the incident you mentioned was a dispute between the airline and the passenger. What you’re experiencing now is a criminal case involving the U.S. police arresting international drug traffickers.
Due to your arrest and your intention to resist,w enforcement officers are authorized to use force. Secondly, we have recording devices throughout our operations. If you have any objections regarding our actions, you can discuss them with yourwyer, who will be able to address themter.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Realizing the gravity of the situation and that her attempts to intimidate the policewoman were futile, ine’s tone shifted. With a quivering voice, she pleaded, “Officer… I’m truly innocent… How can you help prove that?” The policewoman replied indifferently, “To establish your innocence, the only option is to apprehend the other party involved, and they must confess that you were unaware of the situation. Without that, it’s impossible to clear your name. The contraband items were found in your checked luggage, and unless you can show that you were oblivious to it, your suspicions remain.”
Panic set in for ine as she quickly said, “I have chat records with her! They can prove I’m innocent. We’ve beenmunicating this whole time!”
The policewoman shook her head, saying, “If you could prove your innocence solely based on chat records, it would create a dangerous loophole. Future drug dealers could easily fabricate conversations and then unt them when caught. If sessful, they’d profit immensely. If caught, they’d merely present their chat records and im innocence. Do you really believe thew has so many gaps for you to exploit?”
Desperately, ine urged, “Then why are you still here? You should be out there apprehending that person! Ste! She just left the airport not long ago; she can’t possibly escape New York that quickly! If you capture her and interrogate her, I can prove my innocence!” The policewoman responded coldly, “We don’t require your guidance on how to handle this case. Right now, we need to take yourplete statement. If you have awyer, we can assist in notifying them. If not, we will assign one to you, and you can make your choice.”
Without missing a beat, ine eximed, “I want to call my family! I need to speak to my daughter and son-inw!”<fn038a> ?? ??? ???? ?? ???? ???? ???????s, ????s? ??s?? fι?dnοvel</fn038a>
