From an early age, udia found herself disconnected from the material world and the pursuit of wealth, even as her peers began to recognize its significance.
The devastating loss of her family taught her to view these concerns with indifference. In her life, she doesn’t aspire to be wealthy, nor does she chase after afortable lifestyle or social prestige. Her only wish is to honor her own existence. She believes in living well in her heart, allowing the spirits of her departed family members to find peace.
Among the various fields of study avable, udia felt no attraction to any except archaeology, which sparked a deep yearning within her.
This interest stemmed not only from her desire to learn more about Huaxia but also from her wish to limit interactions with others as much as possible.
Every day, archaeologists engage with diverse historical sites and cultural artifacts. The field is not widely pursued, which means fewer ssmates—an ideal situation for udia.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
With this rity of purpose, she resolved on the spot to apply for archaeology.
Charlie stood firmly by her decision. He understood that many college students select majors that don’t resonate with them. Many struggle with low scores in cultural subjects, as well as in music and physical education.
For those admitted to average universities, their scores often dictate their major choices. If students don’t achieve high enough marks, they typically have to settle for less desirable options orply with forced adjustments.
In contrast, udia’s ability to clearly identify her passion was already a stroke of luckpared to many of her peers.
Recognizing udia’s determination, the Director nodded and said, “Since archaeology truly interests you, I’ll ensure you are ced in the Department of Archaeology.”
He then pulled out several forms, handed a pen to udia, and exined, “Your qualifications meet our criteria for international student recruitment, so pleaseplete these forms honestly. Be sure to fill in all fields marked with an asterisk; the others can be left empty. Once youplete them and return them to me, I’ll arrange for someone to prepare your admission notice. However, please note that this notice will take some time. I’ve just sent out a batch, and the next one may take about a week. I’ll make sure it’s mailed to you as soon as possible.”
udia nodded in gratitude, saying, “Thank you for your efforts.” The Director smiled slightly and turned to Isaac Cameron, who was nearby, and said sincerely, “My rtionship with Mr. Isaac is well-established. You don’t need to thank me for this. If you need any assistance at Aurous Hill University in the future, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll respond promptly.”
He then retrieved a business card from his desk holder, handed it to udia, and added, “My mobile number is included; I’m avable 24/7.”
udia expressed her thanks once again before beginning to fill out her personal information.
Upon reaching the emergency contact section, she noticed the asterisk and hesitated momentarily. However, she quickly decided to skip that section. Afterpleting the other parts, she asked, “Director, could I fill in the emergency contactter? My godmother and sister just returned from Canada, and I haven’t had the chance to get a domestic mobile number yet.”<fne8bd> Read full story at Find1Novel</fne8bd>
The Director nodded, responding casually, “That’s fine; you can add itter. Just remember not to forget.”
At that moment, Charlie interjected, “udia, just use my mobile number as your emergency contact. It would be more effective than reaching out to Mrs. Lewis.”
udia hesitated briefly but ultimately nodded. She picked up the pen once more and wrote Charlie’s name in the emergency contact field, then turned to him with wide blue eyes and asked gently, “Brother Charlie, what’s your phone number?”
