The freshmen at Aurous Hill University have sessfully gone through registration, ss cement, and counselor assignments. This afternoon, the university distributed military training uniforms to all students. The official military training willmence tomorrow morning and willst for two weeks.
The military training is organized in a paramilitary style. Both Lin Wan’er (ni) and udia opted to live on campus; otherwise, they would need to wake up at six every morning, making it difficult for them to arrive on time for their sses.
Currently, the two are in their dormitory, chatting as they arrange their beds and personal items.
Since the tragic loss of her family members, udia has be extremely cautious around others and generally prefers to keep to herself. While in Canada, the only people she truly trusted were Mrs. Lewis (Aunt Angie) and Lisa.
Despite her usual quiet demeanor, udia finds that she shares a surprising number of interests with Lin Wan’er (ni), creating a sense of camaraderie between them.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
From udia’s perspective, Lin Wan’er (ni) is not only beautiful and possesses a remarkable presence, but udia also notices that Lin Wan’er (ni) is well-educated and cultured. Every gesture she makes exudes grace and dignity.
This admiration runs deep for udia, who, in her heart, looks up to Lin Wan’er (ni) as a role model.
Lin Wan’er (ni) is equally kind and supportive towards udia. Despite the respect shemands from her peers, she embraces a big sister role in front of udia, showing her extra care and attentiveness.
While Lin Wan’er (ni) intentionally seeks to build a closer bond with udia, she also appreciates udia’s personality, whichplements her own.
Though Lin Wan’er (ni) is curious to learn more about Charlie from udia, she hesitates to bring him up during their conversations.
Although she eagerly anticipates the chance to meet Charlie again, she also feels anxious that he might not trust her and could use his spiritual abilities to gauge her sincerity during their next encounter.
For her, even though Charlie’s psychological suggestionscked tangible effects, the lingering aftermath of the spiritual energy entering her brain from theirst meeting still hasn’t fully dissipated.
As Lin Wan’er (ni) chats, udia notices her frowning and can’t help but ask, “Lin Wan’er (ni), is something bothering you? Are you feeling unwell?” Lin Wan’er (ni) forces a smile, rubbing her temples as she replies, “I’m okay, just a bit of a headache.”
udia, concerned, inquires, “Is your perioding? The counselor mentioned that if you are on your period, you can let her know, and she’ll help us get leave from the instructor.”<fnf155> Readplete version only at findnovel</fnf155>
Lin Wan’er (ni) shakes her head, “It’s not that; it’s probably just a migraine. My temples are throbbing painfully.”
udia suggests, “Would you like to take some painkillers? Sister Lisa gave me some earlier. I have regr meds like ibuprofen.”
Lin Wan’er (ni) declines, saying, “Thank you, but I’ve been taking painkillers for thest couple of days, and they haven’t helped.”
She pulls out a bottle of ibuprofen from her pocket, revealing that more than half of the twelve capsules are still inside.
udia gasps, “You’ve been taking these for two days? You shouldn’t overdose on that medication!”
Lin Wan’er (ni) replies with a sigh, “I can’t help it; the pain is too intense, so I have to keep trying. But it doesn’t seem to work very well.”
udia insists, “If it’s not working, you should go to the hospital. I’ll apany you!”
“Forget it,” Lin Wan’er (ni) waves her hand dismissively. “Migraines are notoriously difficult to treat. The hospital doesn’t have any effective solutions.”
Lin Wan’er (ni) is well aware that her headache stems from the psychological suggestion made by Charliest time, and there’s not much that can be done other than to allow time for recovery.
