The Amazing son in law Chapter 5977

Cannon Cheng felt a shiver run down his spine as he spoke, “We recently discovered that three individuals from ckwater Company acquired three near-anti-aircraft guns from the Eastern European ck market. These guns are identical to the one that took Uncle’s life.”

“Uncle Sean has been looking into this matter at ckwater Company, yet he hasn’t uncovered anything significant. He secretly detained several ckwater executives and subjected them to torture, but no leads have emerged,” he continued.

“In recent days, ckwater has announced a halt on sending additional troops overseas due to the strange deaths of several high-ranking officials. Many believe that Uncle’s death might have been intentionally framed to implicate ckwater,” Sara interjected thoughtfully.

She then ordered, “Notify Uncle Sean that further investigations into ckwater are unnecessary. Additionally, inform the Governor’s Office of the Five Armies to immediately cease all external operations, and that meetings will be on hold for three months.” Jadiel responded promptly, “Understood, my lord. I will ry the message!”

Sara added, “Also, please inform the crew to prepare for my departure tomorrow. I will be heading to Myanmar.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Jadiel eximed in rm, “My lord, I must ask why you wish to leave the station at such a critical time?”

Sara shot him a fierce re, her tone icy, “How dare you question my decisions?”

Jadiel, visibly shaken by her fierce demeanor, quickly knelt and pressed his forehead to the ground, pleading, “This subordinate deserves punishment; I beg for your forgiveness!” Sara, seemingly unfazed, coldly warned, “In the future, if you utter one more word, you’ll find yourself back at the Liaodong ancestral mausoleum!”

The Wu family’s ancestral home is in Liaodong, and for the Wu family during the Qing Dynasty, being sent back to guard the ancestral grave was akin to a death sentence—one could only meet their end there.

Terrified, Jadiel pped himself twice, kowtowing as he cried out, “This subordinate deserves to die! Thank you, my lord, for your mercy!”

Sara dismissed him with a wave of her hand, saying, “Leave. I’ve made the necessary arrangements.”

“Your subordinate obeys!” Jadiel responded, bowing three times as if he had been granted a reprieve before hurriedly exiting.

Just as he reached the door, Sara called out, “Stop!”

A chill ran down Jadiel’s spine as he turned around, stammering, “Y-Yes, my lord? What do you require?”

Sara inquired, “What is the status of the three elders?”

Relieved that she was no longer pursuing him, Jadiel quickly replied, “They are all waiting in the secret meeting hall, my lord.”

Sara frowned, asking, “When I instructed you to return, did you notice any changes in their demeanor?”

Jadiel recalled, “At that time, the three elders seemed somewhat displeased.”

“Displeased?” Sara scoffed, her voice calm yetced with sarcasm. “It appears these three are unhappy because I interrupted their retreat. Human nature is quite revealing—show someone gratitude with a meal, and they may not care. But take away even half of what they’ve eaten, and they will resent you for it.”<fn5155> Updates are released by Find★Novel</fn5155>
