Lin Wan’er (ni) nodded emphatically, “Absolutely! Her aura is identical to that of the mother of Pucha. Considering the numerous coincidences we’ve observed, I can state with 100% certainty that this is indeed the mother of Pucha.”
Charlie Wade nodded slightly and mused, “If that’s the case, does it mean that the mother of Pucha has transformed into a loose fairy within this tree?”
Lin Wan’er (ni) replied without hesitation, “That’s pretty much what I’m suggesting. I just haven’t had the chance to confirm some of the rumors I’ve heard before; this is all based on my deductions.”
Charlie Wade nodded, crouched down beside her, and gazed at the seedling, murmuring in excitement, “This seedling appears ordinary, nothing particrly special. I can’t sense anything.” Noting his skepticism, Lin Wan’er (ni) insisted firmly, “My lord, everything I’ve said is true. I am convinced she must be the mother of Pucha!”
“Tsk…” Charlie Wade clicked his tongue, nodded to himself, and muttered, “Such a miraculous phenomenon is truly beyond imagination.”
As he continued, he curiously asked Lin Wan’er (ni), “Earlier you mentioned it grew rapidly; why isn’t it growing now?”
Lin Wan’er (ni) looked puzzled as she replied, “I’m not sure, my lord…”
Charlie Wade rested his chin on his hand, staring at the seedling and sighed, “It’s intriguing, really intriguing.”
Suddenly, he caught a whiff of the refreshing aroma of tea. Without thinking, he reached out, plucked a young leaf from the seedling, and said, “Let me taste it and find out what kind of vor this impressive tea tree has!”
Seeing him tear off a leaf, Lin Wan’er (ni) immediately cried out in distress, “Master, please don’t!”
Before Lin Wan’er (ni) could finish her plea, Charlie Wade swiftly grabbed another leaf, offering it to her mouth and insisting, “It’s better to share the joy than to enjoy it alone. You should try it too. With all the tea cakes you’ve had, you must be the most familiar with its vor. Give it a taste and see if it’s the same.” Lin Wan’er looked ready to cry, her eyes glistening as she protested, “Even if the young master consumes my ve, it’s still better than eating her leaves! She has waited over 300 years and just broke ground today. There are only a few young leaves total, and now two of them have been picked—it’s so pitiful…”
“It’s alright,” Charlie Wade reassured her. “You see how vibrant her vitality is; those leaves will surely grow back soon. Let’s consider it a form of pruning for her. After all, they say a tree won’t grow straight if it’s not pruned.”
Lin Wan’er (ni) replied with a sense of deep grievance, “My lord, she has just sprouted; why can’t we let her cultivate in peace at this time…”
