The Amazing son in law Chapter 6231

As Charlie and Arman exited the goose shop together, Arman nced back at the modest exterior and let out a soft sigh, “From this moment forward, my father’s skills in roasting goose will be lost.” Charlie smiled knowingly.

He then asked, “Uncle Arman, do you have any doubts or objections regarding my decision today?”

After a brief pause, Arman replied earnestly, “Master, Gunbir is not merely a pet I’ve trained; he is an orphan I adopted. Since the day I took him in, I never envisioned any specific ns for his future. He learned how to cook roast goose from me not out of intention, but because of his tumultuous childhood. Having received little education and burdened by the challenges of being an undocumented immigrant, he found it difficult to leave Chinatown. Thus, I taught him the craft of roasting goose so he could earn a living.”

He continued, “Whether he decides to sell roast goose or pursue another path, I respect his choices. However, the opportunity presented to him by the young master today is substantial, and I worry he mayck the experience to fully seize it.” Charlie responded thoughtfully, “Uncle Arman, perhaps we should consider this situation from a different perspective.”

Arman nodded respectfully, saying, “Master, please share your thoughts.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Charlie exined, “Before we arrived, Gunbir was already targeted by those individuals and faced a beating. Today, it’s clear that he wouldn’t have been able toe up with three thousand dors. If we hadn’t intervened, what would have happened to him? At best, he would have endured a more severe beating. Given the brutality of those gang members, Gunbir could have suffered lifelong consequences, ranging from disability to paralysis. And that’s a rtively favorable oue.”

He paused for a moment before continuing, “Consider the worst-case scenario: these individuals have already started killing in Chinatown, and it’s likely that more than one person has died. If they intended to use Gunbir as an example today, or if he resisted too fiercely, there’s a significant chance they could have pulled a weapon, which would certainly mean his demise.”

“In this context, Gunbir has nothing left to lose. From now on, he stands to gain everything. Being able to confront his oppressors signifies that he still possesses spirit. Choosing this path is undoubtedly better for him than remaining passive.”

Arman nodded slightly in agreement and then inquired, “By the way, young master, why didn’t Gunbir take the opportunity to shoot and kill those men?”

Charlie replied, “He will indeed have to face killing in the future, but it shouldn’t happen just yet. If he kills too many right away, he risks bing brutal and bloodthirsty. It’s better for him to adapt gradually.”

After that, Charlie turned to Arman and asked, “Uncle Arman, since you didn’t rest all night, would you like to go to the hotel and catch up on some sleep first?”

“No,” Arman quickly waved his hand. “I’ll stay with you, young master. I’m busy with business, so let’s finish what we need to do first. Let’s head to Queens and find a ce for a cup of coffee. I believe Peter’s antique shop should be open by now.”

“Alright,” Charlie agreed. “Then off to Queens we go.”

    …

    Queens, New York.

Queens is a vast area. While it may not match the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, its central part can be seen as a miniature version of Manhattan.

Additionally, Queens boasts a dense poption and a diverse array of immigrants, resulting in a vibrant atmosphere. Flushing, in particr, is a well-known neighborhood bustling with Chinese residents and businesses.

Peter Zhou’s antique shop is situated in the heart of Queens. Though the store itself isn’trge, its location is quite prime.

When Charlie and Arman parked across from the antique shop, they realized it was closed.

Initially, Arman didn’t see anything amiss; after all, it was still morning and many antique shops don’t open early. However, Charlie, with his sharper eyesight, spotted something unusual.

He noticed the rust on the iron door and handle of the antique store, indicating ack of upkeep for some time.

nning to grab a coffee across the street, he drove over and got out to take a closer look. Upon inspection, he confirmed that the antique shop had been closed for quite a while, with spider webs adorning the folding iron door.

Peering inside through the window, he saw that the disys were covered in dust, clearly neglected for an extended period.

Arman, standing nearby, frowned and remarked, “It seems like this ce has been shut for at least a few months.”

“Indeed,” Charlie agreed. “Didn’t you mention that the Zhou family operates several antique shops across Europe and the United States? Perhaps this one has been abandoned?”

Arman nced at the neighboring second-hand store, which, although disying a closed sign, had people inside. He approached, knocked on the door, and struck up a conversation.

After chatting, he returned to Charlie and said, “Master, let’s head back to the car and discuss this further.”<fnced3> Content originallyes from FιndNovel</fnced3>
