In the realm of Taoism, the concept of the ‘true self’ emerges, aiming to allow the sea of consciousness to experience this essence, thereby facilitating a union with my spiritual awareness…”
“Ah… this…” Master Jingqing was momentarily taken aback, and after a pause, the truth dawned on him. “Your words have truly enlightened this humble monk; I am grateful for your teachings!”
Nanako responded quickly, with humility and respect: “Master, you honor me. Today, thanks to your guidance, Ito Nanako has gained a fortune. Your kindness will forever be etched in my heart!”
Lydia (Ava) (Charlie’s mom), already wearing a mask, stood before the monitor. Upon hearing Nanako’s words, she felt a wave of surprise and joy wash over her.<fn8b20> This text is hosted at find~novel</fn8b20>
She had never delved deeply into the concepts of selflessness and the true self.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Initially, when she assisted Jingqing in achieving enlightenment, her focus was on guiding his spiritual consciousness to attain inner vision and helping him navigate the sea of consciousness.
However, she herself was unclear about how to merge his spiritual consciousness with the sea of consciousness.
Part of her sess in realizing the Tao stemmed from Bruce Wade, the owner of Longge; although she mastered the art of irvoyance, it was Bruce Wade’s assistance that enabled her to integrate her spiritual consciousness into the sea.
Now, after two attempts, Nanako had sessfully entered the realm of Taoism, a feat that astonished her and filled her with tion.
She understood that Charlie Wade currently needed two key roles: one of a wise and almost demonic strategist, and the other of a Taoistpanion to practice alongside him.
The term ‘Taoist couple’ here does not refer to a romantic rtionship or a mere break from practice, but rather to apletely reliable partner in spiritual cultivation.
The path of spiritual cultivation can be long and isting. Walking alongside a trustworthy and like-minded individual is akin to having apanion on a long, dark road, which holds profound significance.
In Lydia (Ava) (Charlie’s mom)’s opinion, no one was more suitable than Lin Wan’er, both as a strategist and as a Taoistpanion.
Unfortunately, Lin Wan’er faced a challenge simr to Jingqing. While Jingqing’s aura is trapped within the sea of consciousness, Lin Wan’er has acquired extensive knowledge but cannot cultivate aura.
Thus, Lin Wan’er could serve only as a strategist and was unable to apany Charlie Wade in practicing Taoism.
Now, however, Nanako Ito has finally qualified for the second vital role.
…
In the Buddhist hall, Master Jingqing found himself lost in deep thought.
Today, he had been profoundly influenced by Ito Nanako’s insights, prompting him to reflect on himself repeatedly.
After silently reciting the Heart Sutra several times, he finally spoke: “Since the benefactor can detach from the body and perceive everything around him with his spiritual energy, he has truly attained enlightenment. Compared to a humble monk like me, whose spiritual energy cannot transcend the sea of consciousness, you possess countless more possibilities. Nevertheless, your spiritual energy requires continual cultivation and refinement. Currently, I can only sense this Buddhist hall, but in the future, you may be able to extend your perception to epass the entire temple or even the whole of Qixia Mountain.”
With a sigh, Master Jingqing reflected: “The only limitation is that Ick knowledge of any cultivation methods, so your journey towards enlightenment will depend on your efforts or the aid of noble individuals.”
Nanako nodded earnestly and expressed, “Thank you, Master!”
“Amitabha!” Master Jingqing responded thoughtfully, then added, “I will assist you in consecrating and blessing the amulet. May it keep your beloved safe.”
Understanding that Master Jingqing wished to conclude the discussion on enlightenment, Nanako expressed her gratitude: “Thank you for your efforts, Master!”
