Soon, Kobayashi Jiro dashed up from the descending corridor.
Upon spotting Charlie Wade and Don Albert, he beamed with joy and quickly bowed to greet them: “Hello, Mr. Wade! Hello, Mr. Albert!”
As Jiro Kobayashi spoke, he noticed the unfamiliar face of Steve Rothschild. Thebination of Steve’s whiteplexion and unknown identity piqued his curiosity.
Nevertheless, Jiro was well aware of the etiquette in such situations. Given his current standing, he felt it inappropriate to inquire further, so he politely addressed Steve: “Hello, sir!”
Steve recognized the Japanese man’s curiosity about his identity and was intrigued by whaty beneath the surface.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Noticing the flush on Jiro Kobayashi’s face, Charlie Wade grinned and asked, “Jiro, how have you been living heretely?”
“It’s been wonderful!” Jiro Kobayashi responded with a bright smile. “Everyone has been really kind to me, and everything is going smoothly.”
At this point, Jiro Kobayashi enjoyed a degree of freedom at the dog farm.
Although he couldn’t leave, he felt rtively unrestricted in other areas of his life.
Charlie Wade gave Jiro a friendly pat on the shoulder, gestured towards Steve, and said with a smile, “Jiro, this is Mr. Rothschild from the Rothschild family in the United States. He’s a guest I invited today, and I’ll need you to introduce him aroundter.”
Upon hearing the name “Rothschild,” Jiro Kobayashi was taken aback, murmuring, “The Rothschild family?!”
In Japan, the Rothschild family holds an esteemed reputation.
Among the most recognized English surnames in Japan are MacArthur, Soros, and Rothschild.
MacArthur’s notoriety stems from his role as the de facto upier of Japan after its defeat, earning him the nickname “Emperor of Japan.” Despite humiliating Emperor Showa on multiple asions, he maintained control, and when he departed Japan, millions lined the streets to bid him farewell, leaving many puzzled.
Soros gained fame in Japan due to his brother’s formidable financial prowess, which ignited the Asian financial crisis of 1997. His actions during that tumultuous time caused immense suffering for the Japanese. Even today, young adults from the Heisei era sometimes vent their frustrations in izakayas, menting, “If it weren’t for Soros, I’d be a wealthy second-generation businessperson instead of working at 7-Eleven!”
As for Rothschild, contemporary Japanese view him as a formidable figure. Japan has experienced multiple financial hardships, often attributed to the shadowy influence of the legendary Rothschild family. While Soros merely swooped in to im cash from the Japanese, the Rothschild family is seen as the orchestrator behind significant events, with a legacy so prominent that even young children in Japan recognize them as the foremost family in the world.
Kobayashi Jiro puzzled over why Charlie Wade would bring a Rothschild here, and even more so about the purpose of Rothschild’s visit.
Suddenly, a thought struck him: “Could it be that this Mr. Rothschild is here to take the Hogwitz father and son back? They were always going on about being rtives of the Rothschilds!”
Noticing Jiro Kobayashi’s shifting expression from confusion to shock, Charlie Wade inquired, “Jiro, what’s on your mind?”
Snapping back to reality, Jiro quickly replied, “Oh, it’s nothing, Mr. Wade. Nothing at all…”
He then eagerly added, “Mr. Wade, Mr. Rothschild, if you’re ready, let’s head down together!”<fn6c72> ?????? ???? find?novel</fn6c72>
Charlie Wade nodded and replied, “Please, lead the way.”
Kobayashi Jiro bowed deeply and then turned to descend the stairs, with Charlie Wade following. As they walked down, Jiro nced back and waved at Steve, smiling, “Come on, Steve, I’ll introduce you to a couple of people.”
“Meet someone?” Steve asked, surprised. “Mr. Wade, who do you want me to meet here?”
Charlie Wade smiled back and said, “You’ll find out when we get down there.”
With that, he continued on his way.
