The Amazing son in law Chapter 6636

“Yes,” Charlie nodded. “I’m getting married next week to Professor Hank from Aurous Hill University of Finance and Economics. Dad hasn’t been in the best of moodstely, possibly because he can’t ept it. I wonder if Mom’s breakup with Dad is somehow rted to this.”

ire looked puzzled. “Isn’t it good for Aunt Matilda to find someone else? That way, my dad won’t have to dwell on these issues anymore.”

Charlie sighed, feeling helpless. “The thing is, Mom doesn’t know that Aunt Matilda is back. Dad never told her. Just think about it—when Aunt Matilda returned, Mom was suffering in the detention center. Dad seemed so carefree and happy during that time; he was ready to file for divorce as soon as Mom got out. I’m worried that once Mom starts connecting the dots, she won’t take it lightly…”

ire, with her limited experience in love, struggled to grasp how women might react in a love triangle and how intense their emotions could be. However, after Charlieid out the situation, she began to understand.

She couldn’t help but exim, “Honestly, Dad acted really poorly when Aunt Matilda first came back. He didn’t care about Mom at all—he was only focused on Aunt Matilda and even invited her over for dinner! If I were Mom, I would be furious.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

“Let’s not dwell on this here,” Charlie suggested. “We should head to the traffic police team first.”

“Alright!” ire agreed, but then pulled Charlie back. “Husband, they are probably safe at the traffic police station. There’s no way they would get into a fight there. We don’t need to rush.”<fn2cdd> Official source is fι?dnοvel</fn2cdd>

“Wife, what do you mean?” Charlie asked.

ire expressed her concern: “We need to figure out how to ease this tension between them. If Mom can really piece things together, then the fight between them has just begun. A scuffle on the highway is likely just a warm-up for her. If we don’t address this at its core, she could be violent when she gets home… with a knife…”

Charlie suddenly understood and agreed. “You know Mom’s character well. If this issue isn’t resolved, our family will never find peace.”

ire, feeling anxious, stamped her foot in frustration. “Husband… what should we do?”

Charlie pondered for a moment before asking, “Do you think Mom would be willing to divorce Dad after all this? Dad wants a divorce too. They can’t live together anyway, so why not take this chance to end it and allow them to move on?”

ire quickly interjected, “If they get divorced, where would Dad go? With Mom’s temperament, Dad would have to avoid her, so he definitely couldn’t stay at home. He’s over 50 now; it wouldn’t be right to kick him out at this age.”

She continued, “Honestly, they’re both getting older. Getting divorced now would beughable, and it would be tough for them to start new lives. As they age, they’ll need each other’s support, and we can’t be there for them all the time. Plus, have you thought about what would happen if they became mortal enemies? How would I, as their daughter, mediate between them in the future?”

Charlie pursed his lips and said, “So, are you suggesting that they can’t separate and need to live together while putting this issue behind them?”

“Exactly,” ire nodded firmly. “If they could somehow pretend this never happened, that would be ideal.”

Charlie smiled, “Dad’s character seems alright, so I don’t think he’d cause a problem. But you know how Mom is—how could she just let this go?”
