Currently, Jacob is in his office at the Painting and Calligraphy Association, upied with nning a trip to Dubai.
When he heard Zhang Ermao (Cade) express his thoughts, Jacob’s interest was piqued. He quickly responded, “Come to the association and meet me in my office for an interview!”
“Sure!” Zhang Ermao (Cade) agreed enthusiastically, eximing, “President Jacob, I’ll be there shortly!”
Jacob lowered his voice, cautioning, “Just a reminder, when you arrive, please don’t call me President Jacob in front of others. Use Vice President Jacob instead, alright?”
Zhang Ermao (Cade), being quite perceptive, understood this well. He had called Jacob “President Jacob” to tter him, but it was clear that such titles were not appropriate in the workings of the Painting and Calligraphy Association.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
With a grin, he assured, “Don’t worry, President Jacob, I, Zhang Ermao (Cade), will handle it!”
After ending the call, Zhang Ermao (Cade) quickly drove to the Painting and Calligraphy Association.
Upon arrival, he noticed there were only about a dozen people scattered across numerous workstations, yet each desk was cluttered with office supplies and personal items, which struck Zhang Ermao (Cade) as odd.
Curious, he asked an employee for directions to Jacob’s office. After knocking, he opened the door and announced, “Vice President Jacob, someone wishes to see you.”
Jacob looked up, spotted Zhang Ermao (Cade), and waved him in, saying, “Alright, let hime in. You can return to your tasks now.”
“Sure thing, Vice President Jacob!” the employee replied before ushering Zhang Ermao (Cade) into the office and closing the door behind him.
With a smile, Zhang Ermao (Cade) approached Jacob and took a seat in front of his desk.
Once seated, he couldn’t resist asking, “President Jacob, there are so many workstations outside, but why is it so empty?”
Jacob quickly whispered, “I told you, don’t call me President Jacob! Use Vice President Jacob instead!”<fnc738> ?????? ???? find[?]ovel</fnc738>
Zhang Ermao (Cade) chuckled yfully and remarked, “There’s no one else around, so what’s the worry? Besides, I have a feeling you’ll be dropping that vice president title soon enough.”
Feigning humility, Jacob replied, “Oh,e on. Until I officially step down, I’m still the vice president, and I mustn’t overstep my bounds!”
He then tapped the table and continued, “You were asking about the empty workstations, right?”
Zhang Ermao (Cade) nodded eagerly, “Yes, exactly.”
Jacob stretched and smiled, exining, “This is theid-back atmosphere of the Calligraphy and Painting Association. Our employees don’t face much pressure, and we don’t impose strict requirements. They cane in whenever they feel like it, whether that’s in the morning or afternoon. After spending some time here, the men might grab coffee with friends, and the women might go shopping with theirs. All they need is a reason to step out, like visiting calligraphy and painting artists. I usually do the same and don’t spend my days here all that often. I used to enjoy hanging out at the University for the Elderly, but I’m not keen on that anymore. I haven’t figured out my next project to pass the time yet.”
As he spoke, Jacob waved his hands in frustration, saying, “But enough about that. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. Let’s shift our focus to the project you mentioned—how should we proceed?”
