    Nate replied helplessly, “I’m not sure how to manage him now. I can’t tell if making him a board member will appease him. If that fails, maybe I’ll have to offer him more stock options to smooth things over!”


    His wife inquired with concern, “How much are you thinking of offering him?”


    Nate pondered for a moment before responding, “I think adding $5 million annually on top of his currentpensation should do the trick, right?”


    Nate’s wife sighed, cing a hand on her chest, “I hope that’s enough; $5 million is no small sum, but to him, it may feel like a bargain!”
