The Amazing son in law Chapter 6852

He then turned to the bewildered senior partners and dered loudly, “Everyone, there’s something I’ve never revealed to you. The scoundrel Knight Ellis set a trap for me at work, coaxing me intomitting a typical financial crime. I was kept in the dark for a long time, and only recently did I uncover that his true intention was to gather evidence of my wrongdoing and use it as leverage against me.”

Knight was so terrified that he broke out in a cold sweat. He quickly seized Jimmy and implored in a hushed tone, “Jimmy, if you believe thepensation I offered isn’t sufficient, let’s discuss it. I can negotiate for more benefits on your behalf. But if you expose my secrets and humiliate me, I assure you, you won’t benefit from it!”

Jimmy replied with disdain, “What’s stopping me from exposing your secrets? Even if I do, you’re still obligated to deliver results to me. Otherwise, you’ll face ten years of misery!”

He then turned to the entire room and continued, “All of you senior partners have likely engaged in financial misconduct. I’m sure you’re all aware of this, and I can confirm that Knight, that scoundrel, has collected evidence of your past crimes.”

“You hold value to him, and he will use this evidence as a bargaining chip to threaten you in the future, a ticking time bomb next to you;”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

“If you be useless to him, he’ll use this evidence to send you to prison and destroy your future!”

Knight quickly interjected, “Don’t believe what Jimmy is saying. This guy is utterly ungrateful. Before I came here, I signed a new option agreement with him, mitting to pay him at least an additional 10 million dors annually. Yet here he is, falsely using me in front of everyone. He’s not even human; he’s worse than scum.”

Jimmy scoffed, ncing at someone in the audience, and said, “Eric, remember two years ago when I handled a divorce case for a famous golfer? I helped his wife secure 70 million dors in assets, and you pocketed 7 million of that. Based on the agreement you signed with the firm, you’ve vited the nonpetition use. If you engage in legal work without thepany’s consent, you owe thepany ten times your earnings. This means that if the firm decides to sue you, you could face a staggeringpensation of 70 million dors. Are you aware of this?”

Eric turned pale, fear striking him as he realized the gravity of the situation.

The order he took was not through Ellis Law Firm but was instead introduced by a friend who approached him directly.

Though he believed he had executed it wlessly, he never anticipated that Jimmy would urately cite the case details and the identity of the other party, revealing that he had obtained crucial evidence of Eric’s breach of the nonpete agreement.

But Eric didn’t dare to acknowledge it in front of his boss, so he feigned ignorance and said, “Jimmy, what are you talking about? I don’t understand at all.”

Jimmy retorted with scorn, “Do you think I’m the only one in the know? Let me rify: Knight shared this secret with me. The client suing you was secretly referred to you by him. His intent was to gather all the evidence of your breach. You thought you made 7 million, but he profited at least 70 million from you. If you ever consider changing jobs or starting your own business, he’ll use this evidence to crush you. At that point, you’ll owe him all the money you’ve earned at Ellis, plus interest!”

Eric was momentarily stunned, while others looked on in shock. It was clear from Eric’s expression that Jimmy’s ims held weight, indicating that Eric had indeed engaged in such activities.

If what Jimmy said about Knight was also true, then Knight’s tactics were undeniably ruthless!

Knight was now in a state of sheer panic. He looked at Jimmy and asked quietly, “Jimmy, what do you want? What do you gain from destroying me?”

Jimmy smirked, “Don’t worry, Knight. I have no intention of taking you down. Remember, we just signed a ten-year contract. I’m counting on you to support me over the next decade. No one wants you to seed more than I do!”<fn8cba> Read full story at findnovel</fn8cba>
