The Amazing son in law Chapter 6934

Susan was caught off guard when Helena swiftly turned down the visit request from the current head of the Rothschild family without a second thought.

After all, he is the leader of one of the most prestigious families in the world, overseeing assets worth trillions. No one else canpare to his stature. When someone of his caliber seeks to visit, it is a tremendous honor for the Nordic royal family, not to mention the British royal family.

When Susan received the news that Howard was nning to visit, she felt a mix of surprise and joy and rushed to share this exciting development with Helena. To her astonishment, Helena showed no interest whatsoever.

Quickly, Susan leaned in and reminded her quietly, “Your Majesty, the individual in question is the head of the Rothschild family, and he hase to request a meeting in person. Wouldn’t it be inappropriate to refuse him like this?”

Helena replied with calm assurance, “There’s nothing inappropriate about it. Just convey my message to him exactly as I said.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

From a standpoint ofmon sense and professional ethics, Susan believed that Helena should agree to meet with Howard. However, Helena’s resolve was unyielding. Recognizing that further persuasion would be futile, Susan turned to the old queen, hoping she could convince Helena to reconsider.

While Susan couldn’t fathom why Helena dismissed Howard, the old queen understood perfectly. Howard’s humble approach to seek an audience with a young Nordic queen wasn’t about valuing Helena herself; it was entirely due to the influence of Charlie Wade, who stood behind her, and the significance of his magical elixir.

This put Helena in a position to be somewhat aloof towards Howard. After all, when you represent someone powerful, you must stand strong in the presence of others. Failing to do so risks not just your own reputation, but that of the formidable individual behind you.

With a knowing nce, she signaled to Susan to step out for a moment.

Seeing the old queen’s understanding demeanor, Susan realized this was a deliberate choice and promptly took her leave.

Helena turned to Charlie Wade with a smile, saying, “Mr. Wade, I believe Howard is likely looking to confirm the details about the pill once more. His biggest concern right now is that I might find a reason to dy his eptance and the handover, particrly regarding his half pill.”

Charlie nodded in agreement, responding, “He’s akin to a contractor who has already paid all the project fees upfront. He’s done everything in his power, and his greatest fear is that the other party will postpone payment after the project is epted.”

Curiously, Helena asked, “Mr. Wade, should I keep him waiting for a while longer?”

“Absolutely!” Charlie affirmed. “Once the AI model is handed over, we won’t just transfer control rights; we’ll also need to conduct thorough test runs on its model. This all takes time. Until we ensure everything operates smoothly, we won’t be handing over the elixir. He’ll need to remain in Northern Europe, ready for your call.”

“Understood, Mr. Wade!” Helena replied, fullymitted to carrying out Charlie’s ns.

Following that, the group proceeded to the pce banquet hall. To facilitate easier conversation, Helena dismissed all the attendants after the meal was served and personally poured wine for Charlie and his grandmother. Then she turned to Lin Wan’er with a smile, asking, “What would you like to drink, Suman? How about some orange juice?”

Lin Wan’er smiled softly, gesturing towards the red wine in Helena’s hand, and replied, “I’ll have red wine as well.”

Helena quickly asked, “Is Suman over 18? In Northern Europe, you can only drink alcohol if you’re 18 or older, and even then, it must be low-alcohol.”

Lin Wan’er nodded and, meeting Helena’s gaze with a twinkle in her eye, assured her, “Don’t worry, sister, I’m eighteen.”

Still slightly concerned, Helena nced at Charlie, seeking reassurance.

Charlie coughed lightly and said to Helena, “Go ahead and pour her some. In any case, Nordicws won’t apply to her.”

With that, Helena didn’t hesitate further and poured red wine for Lin Wan’er.<fna1cb> Latest content published on FindN0vel</fna1cb>
