Upon hearing this, Charlie Wade set aside his throbbing headache and turned his gaze toward the aurora in the distance.
What had initially appeared as a vertical wave of light between the sky and the earth suddenly transformed, twisting and swirling like a whirlpool under some mysterious influence. The aurora seemed to break apart into countless tiny particles, each beginning to rotate slowly in the air.
Charlie Wade was left in awe. Beside him, Lin Wan’er (ni) eximed, “Why does the aurora suddenly resemble a swarm of fireflies?”
Charlie Wade nodded in agreement, responding, “Miss Lin’s observation is spot on. The once expansive aurora now looks like a multitude of fireflies. They are beginning to disperse and rotate around a central point. I can’t fathom why this is happening…”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Lin Wan’er (ni) replied thoughtfully, “It may resemble fireflies, but it’s not. This aurora acts like ocean waves. While ocean waves consist of countless water droplets, those droplets cannot defy thews of physics governing the waves. This is quite peculiar…”
As she spoke, Lin Wan’er (ni) suddenly pointed towards the green vortex spinning in the air and eximed, “Look, sir! The aurora appears to be transforming!”
When they looked again at the vortex, it was no longer vertically oriented between the heavens and the earth.
The whirlpool seemed toe alive, tilting towards the horizontal ne until itypletely parallel to sea level.
Charlie Wade and Lin Wan’er (ni) stood in stunned silence, mesmerized by the sight of the swirling vortex.
Unable to contain his excitement, Charlie Wade grasped Lin Wan’er (ni)’s hand, and they ran up the hill towards the mesmerizing vortex.
Though Lin Wan’er (ni) was out of breath, she kept pace with Charlie Wade, determined not to fall behind.
In a moment, they found themselves standing directly beneath the vortex. Looking up, they were captivated by the swirling green lights above them. Charlie Wade had never encountered such a breathtaking sight before and couldn’t help but exim, “This… resembles the Milky Way…”
“Absolutely…” Lin Wan’er (ni), holding Charlie Wade’s hand, looked up in wonder and added, “Countless points of light are spinning silently overhead. It feels just like the magnificent Milky Way I once gazed upon from the Qinghai-Tibet teau…”
Then she turned to Charlie Wade and inquired, “Sir, what could be causing this? I believe it’s certainly not a natural urrence; some force must be influencing the aurora!”
Charlie Wade responded, “I just sensed something surge out of my mind. I can’t tell if it was just my imagination.”
As he spoke, he quickly retrieved the ring that Lin Wan’er (ni) had given him, noting that it was still there and hadn’t vanished.
Moreover, the ring remainedpletely still, appearing unaffected by the strange aurora.
Seeing Charlie Wade pull out the ring, Lin Wan’er (ni) eagerly asked, “Sir, do you notice any changes with the ring? Any fluctuations?”
“No…” Charlie Wade replied, “It feels lifeless right now, without any movement. It doesn’t seem connected to this phenomenon.”
Lin Wan’er (ni) pressed on, “Do you possess any other magical artifacts?”<fn5a7a> N?w ?ovel chapt?rs are published on F?nd-Novel</fn5a7a>
“Magical artifact?” Charlie Wade chuckled awkwardly, “I do have a Thunder Token made from the wood struck by lightning from Pu Cha’s mother, but it appears to be inert.”
Lin Wan’er (ni) asked again, “Is there anything else?”
“No, that’s all…” Charlie Wade responded. “True magical artifacts are exceedingly rare. I’ve only obtained two authentic ones so far: the ring you gave me and the medicine cauldron that the head of Taizhen Dao lost to me.”
Lin Wan’er (ni) inquired, “Sir, did you bring the medicine cauldron with you?”
