Even though Andre believed the world had gonepletely insane, he instinctively assisted Wu Shuhang in getting back on his feet.
Once Wu Shuhang regained his bnce, he quickly reached for his phone, which he had tucked into his right pocket, using his left hand. His left hand fumbled around, attempting to extract the device.
However, Wu Shuhang typically kept his phone safely in the inner pocket of his jacket. While it was easy for him to ce it there with his right hand, maneuvering his left hand to retrieve it from the same side proved to be quite a challenge.
After several unsessful attempts, Andre stood by, watching Wu Shuhang’s left hand twist and bend in various angles. He was taken aback. He recalled witnessing Wu Shuhang’s left hand being severed before, and now he was astonished to see it moving so flexibly right before him.
Initially, Andre felt a peculiar sense of detachment, but as he observed Wu Shuhang’s struggles, anxiety began to wash over him. He hesitated, unsure whether to offer assistance.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
On one hand, not helping felt ufortable given Wu Shuhang’s predicament; on the other, intervening in what seemed like a trivial matter could potentially irritate him.
As Andre hesitated, Wu Shuhang was nearing his breaking point. He looked up at Andre and shouted in frustration, “Why aren’t you helping me? What’s the harm in lending a hand to get my phone?”
Andre quickly responded, “Grand Commander, please calm down. I’ll help you get it right away!”
Without dy, he stepped forward and retrieved the phone from Wu Shuhang’s pocket.
In a fit of anger, Wu Shuhang snatched the phone, but due to his left hand’s unfamiliarity, it slipped from his grip and fell.
He stumbled to pick it up off the ground, relieved to find it unharmed. He quickly unlocked the screen and called Jadiel.
While dialing, he instructed Andre, “You should leave now.”
Andre, eager to escape the awkward situation, promptly stepped back.
Jadiel answered the call swiftly, asking, “Shuhang, is there any new update from your side?”
With a voice full of grievance, Wu Shuhang replied, “Grandpa, I feel so wronged!”
As he spoke, tears streamed down his face, and his voice trembled with emotion.<fn2082> Newest update provided by </fn2082>
Hearing his distress, Jadiel assumed that he was still struggling with the trauma of losing his left hand. Heforted him, saying, “Shuhang, think about your brother’s situation. You are quite fortunatepared to him. Your brother lost his station in Cyprus, and an earl perished there. You too lost a station, but a quasi-earl is also missing. You both share equal responsibility, yet he is gone and you only lost a right hand. What’s there to be so upset about?”
Wu Shuhang protested through his tears, “No, Grandpa… The Lord has punished me, and I dare not defy. You don’t understand, just moments ago, that wretched mysterious man appeared and yed tricks on me. He’s genuinely a devil!”
Jadiel eximed, “What did you say? That mysterious man came to you? He showed up and didn’t kill you?”
Wu Shuhang stammered, “That scoundrel didn’t even bother to finish me off. He treated me like a dog…”
He continued, “Grandpa, just a few days ago, you told me about the Reshaping Pill. Today, that bastard came to my door and forced one on me without warning…” Jadiel
chuckled, “Shuhang, do you genuinely believe such tales? The Reshaping Pill is incredibly rare. Even the Lord of Ennd hasn’t been able to gather all the ingredients needed to create it. One of theponents, a legendary herb named Fengguteng, has eluded the Lord of Ennd for centuries. Do you truly think someone would just give you a pill and im it was the Reshaping Pill?”
Wu Shuhang quickly replied, “No, Grandpa! Of course, I didn’t believe him at first. I thought he was just spouting nonsense. But that guy didn’t care whether I believed him or not; he made me take it anyway. The most astonishing part is, after I swallowed it, my left hand actually grew back! I watched it develop from a small bud into a fully formed hand in under five minutes…”
