charlie Wade observed from the audience for a while. On stage, Tawana had already begun performing with the dance team.
Despite the cold weather, Tawana’s outfit was surprisingly thin and daring. charlie Wade couldn’t quite identify what kind of clothing she was wearing—it resembled the attire of female Olympic gymnasts.
Her legs were almost fully exposed to the air. Though they were long, they weren’t slender; instead, they were muscr, exuding strength and power.
charlie Wade couldn’t help but sigh inwardly. First, he noted how much bolder Western women’s fashion was, and second, how they seemed more resilient to the cold.
As he lingered in thought, hank suddenly appeared and greeted him with a smile. “Mr. Wade, what brings you here so early?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
charlie Wade smiled back. “Uncle Hank, just call me by my name. No need for formalities.”<fnf8ce> Original content can be found at find{n}ovel</fnf8ce>
hank replied seriously, “I considered calling you ‘Master,’ but I was worried it might cause trouble for you.”
charlie Wade had no choice but to ask, “Uncle Hank, how are our preparationsing along? Today’s audience admission will be a major test.”
hank nodded. “We’ve opened six gates with a total of 18 ticket inspection channels. The requirement is to present original ID cards or passports. We’ve also installed facial recognition equipment on-site, so everything should run smoothly.”
Hearing about the facial recognition system, charlie Wade remarked, “I forgot to involve our AI. It could have been a great help, right?”
hank replied, “Our domestic facial recognition technology is already quite advanced. In the past, it has helped catch fugitives at many celebrity concerts. Today, we’ve implemented the same system. If someone isn’t the genuine ticket holder, it’s almost impossible for them to sneak in—unless they closely resemble the actual person. If that happens, we’ll let it slide since no system is entirely foolproof.”
charlie Wade nodded with a smile. “As long as we handle these first few events well, fewer people will try to exploit the systemter.”
He then asked, “Where’s Aunt Matilda?”
“She’s at thepany,” hank replied. “She’s been very busytely, coordinating with various suppliers and contractors.”
“Legal work is the top priority,” charlie Wade acknowledged with a nod.
At that moment, Tawana and her team of dancers finished a scene. Spotting charlie Wade near the stage, she spoke into her inte, “Take a 20-minute break, everyone. We’ll resume afterward.”
As the leader and core of the team, her words carried authority. The dancers and staff pped in unison before quickly transitioning into rest mode.
Tawana jumped down from the T-shaped stage, which stood over a meter high. Without bothering to cover up, she strode confidently toward charlie Wade.
Seeing her approach, hank said to charlie Wade, “I’ll go check on the details with our team.” With that, he turned and left.
Tawana reached charlie Wade with a bright smile. “When did you get here, Mr. Wade?”
“I just arrived,” charlie Wade replied.
Noticing her thin attire, he asked, “Aren’t you cold in such light clothing?”
Tawana smiled warmly. “I’m used to it. Performing on stage involves a lot of movement, and wearing heavier clothes would just make it hotter.”
charlie Wade nodded and asked, “Have all the guests you asked me to invite arrived?”
Tawana shook her head slightly. “I’m not entirely sure. It seems they coordinated with Mr. Rothschild afterward.”
“Alright,” charlie Wade said. “I’ll check with him.”
He then made a call to Steve in Tawana’s presence.
