Being invited as a guest performer for Tawana is such an honor, and since I’m a Eastcliff native, it feels fitting to wee her to our city by performing alongside her.”


    Angie nodded approvingly and smiled. “As long as you’re happy, Mom supports you.”

    “No, no, it’s fine,” Tawana replied, suddenly more alert. “Is there something you need?”


    charlie Wade said, “I’d like to meet you at Buckingham Pce. I’ll be bringing Miss Sun so we can discuss the performance.”


    Tawana asked in surprise, “Did Miss Sun agree?”


    charlie Wade smiled. “Of course! She’s excited to perform alongside you, so I wanted to finalize everything as soon as possible. Your concert is only two days away.”


    “Yes, yes!” Tawana said eagerly. “We need to move quickly and finalize the details—performance time, song choices, and ideally, more interactions between us on stage.”


    charlie Wade immediately responded, “Then we should meet as soon as possible. How about we talk now?”


    Tawana chuckled. “Perfect. I just booked the presidential suite, which has a conference room. If you and Miss Sun haven’t had breakfast yet, I can have someone arrange it for you. We can eat while we discuss everything.”


    “Sounds good,” charlie Wade said decisively. “We’ll head over now.”


    After hanging up, he turned to Stefanie sun. “Stefanie, let’s go now. The sooner we discuss things, the sooner we can return for lunch.”


    Stefanie sun readily agreed.


    Seeing charlie Wade so eager to leave, Angie grew slightly suspicious. She couldn’t shake the feeling that discussing the concert was just an excuse—his real goal seemed to be escaping.


    However, knowing that Old Master Wade had arranged a family dinner for the evening, she decided not to push the issue. Instead, she simply said, “Since you have things to take care of, go ahead. Your Uncle sun and I will wait for you to return for lunch.”
