    At that moment, Gaylord stepped out of his room. He was surprised to see Thorne, Vesta, Charlene, and Stewart all waiting for the elevator at the same time, and he paused briefly. However, Charlene and Stewart stood at a different elevator bank, a good distance away from Thorne and Vesta. To a stranger, it would have looked as though they didn''t know each other at all.
