Chapter 59

He waved his hand. “Liam, get a SWAT team on standby for arrests. And notify the detectives. I want eyes on the Evans family at all times. Not a single one of them is getting away.”

“Yes, sir.” his team replied, springing into action.

Stanley didn’t sit idly after giving his orders. He got on the phone with his higher–ups to report what had happened. Still, he couldn’t shake the question–who on earth had dumped all this evidence on them?

Sean stretchedzily and caught a whiff of something delicious. He immediately hopped over to check it out.

Olivia was dressed in a gray jacket and ck boots, her hair pulled up in a high ponytail. She was carrying out a pot of multi–grain hot cereal.

For as long as Sean could remember, Olivia would make him multi–grain hot cereal every few days to make sure he was getting enough nutrition.

Sean dashed over to Olivia, hugging her leg and showing off. “I… I sent… Stanley.”

Feeling something tugging at her leg, Olivia looked down and saw Sean. She nodded. “Nice work. You should eat moreter.”

As soon as he heard he could eat more, Sean spun around in circles, his face lit up with pure joy.

Ten minutester, Olivia brought out the cereal and m chowder. As soon as it hit the table, Sean started chowing down like there was no tomorrow.

Grace frowned with concern. “He’s got a healthy appetite, but he’s not growing at all. Olivia, perhaps you should take him to see a doctor.”

Olivia shot him a nce anddled some m chowder into Grace’s bowl. “Don’t worry. He just hasn’t hit his growth spurt yet.”

Between yground brawls and nonstop movement, Sean burned calories at an insane rate. It was just part of being a growing boy.

Olivia had barely started eating when her phone buzzed–Lucas was calling.

“Olivia, sorry for bothering you so early. My deepest apologies and all that…” Lucas babbled.

    “Spit it out,” Olivia interrupted.

Lucas rubbed his tired forehead and let out a long yawn. “Shadow Syndicate just sent word–there’s finally some news about Juliet, the girl you’ve been hunting for.”

Olivia’s hand shook for a moment, and she almost dropped her phone.

Juliet was someone she’d grown up with at the orphanage–a friend who was more like family. She’d been adopted before Olivia, and after that, she just disappeared from Olivia’s life.

“Where is she?” Olivia asked, her voice tight with urgency,

“She’s… in a hospital in srough,” Lucas said, pausing for a moment before adding, “You need to brace yourself, Olivia.”

Olivia gave a slow nod, but the mention of Juliet being at a hospital sent a cold weight settling in her chest Hospitals often meant sickness.

“Juliet’s sick… really sick. It’s brain cancer.” Lucas sighed heavily, tightening his grip on the medical files. “Olivia, right now, you’re her only chance.”

Olivia took a deep breath. As the renowned Phantom Healer–celebrated across Clusia–she couldn’t risk being seen in a hospital like that.

But Juliet was like family to her. Even after all the years of hardship, Olivia had never stopped searching for her.

Now, Olivia had finally found her, only to discover she was deathly ill. There was no question–Olivia would do whatever it took to save her.

“Lucas, go get her and bring her to Hirica General Hospital-” Olivia started, but she immediately hesitated when she remembered that the Evans family controlled nearly all the hospitals in Hirica. She realized that sending Juliet there could actually put her in greater danger.

“Wait, take her to your family’s hospital instead,” Olivia said, transferring 300 thousand to Lucas’s ount without a second thought. “Take good care of her. Once I’m back from Magnolia Town, I’lle over myself and do whatever it takes to save her.”

“You’re reallying in person?” Lucas blurted out, his excitement barely contained. But then his voice grew anxious. “But the Shea family is searching for you everywhere.”
