Chapter 1791

    ?Chapter 1791:

Nearby, Jayden sat watching everything unfold with a stoic expression. Lowell walked into the police station with a somber face, having just confirmed the loss of his baby at the hospital.

He addressed Shaun’s irate parents. “Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy, we ept full responsibility. I assure you, we won’t evade our obligations. I just heard that Shaun is no longer in critical condition.”

Shaun’s mother, ovee with emotion, eximed, “Shaun is safe now, but he may never fully recover. It’s all because of Dolores! She must pay with her life for this!”

The irreversible harm she caused my son.

Leon turned pale and remarked, “Isn’t that excessive? Shaun isn’t dead.”

Lowell halted Leon’s thoughts, asserting, “This time, we will follow thew strictly. My family will not sway the jury’s decision. If Dolores is sentenced to ten years in jail, then ten years she will serve.”

Shaun’s father, feeling somewhat reassured, mented, “I hope you mean what you say.”

Once Lowell and Shaun’s parents reached an agreement, Lowell approached Jayden.

Jayden, raising an eyebrow, inquired, “What is it you seek from me?”

    Lowell started, “Regarding Tracy…”

“You insisted on adhering to thew, didn’t you? I have noints. However, I did not foresee you forsaking your family ties,” Jayden pointed out, smiling knowingly.

Lowell admitted, “I also lost my unborn child.”

Feigning sympathy, Jayden retorted, “You lost one child. There will be others.”

Lowell, aware of his sarcasm, chuckled weakly and confessed, “That’s true, but Tracy and I are done having children.”

Jayden questioned, “Do you think she can ever be your girlfriend again? Both you and Dolores have tried to kill her.”

Lowell remained silent, then reluctantly agreed, “You’re right. She and I are ipatible.”

Reflecting on the past, Jayden noted, “Tracy and Shaun were once set to wed. But your actions, along with Dolores’s, ruined their ceremony. You seem indifferent to the consequences of your actions. But remember, what goes aroundes around.”

Lowell pressed his lips together, remaining silent. It seemed his past had finally caught up with him. His dreams of a future with the woman he loved evaporated overnight. Without that child, Tracy would not consider a rtionship with him.

With nothing more to say, Lowell followed the officers to meet Dolores. Approaching the interrogation room, he could already hear her distraught cries.

Dolores was yelling, “I didn’t mean it! Let me out! How dare you interrogate me? I need to see my brother! Bring him here now!”

A flicker of revulsion danced in Lowell’s eyes as he thrust open the door to the interrogation room and stepped inside with purpose. Dolores caught sight of him and sprang to her feet in an instant. She dashed toward him, desperation etched across her face.<fna89f> The rightful source is find?novel</fna89f>
