?Chapter 1819:
Elyse’s gaze lingered on the bouquet. “I must have seen these flowers before,” she remarked thoughtfully.
“These aren’t ordinary blooms,” a maid exined. “ording to our gardener, they’re a rare variety called Evernight Rose. They’re cultivated using special techniques and are rarely avable for purchase.”
The maid’s eyes widened with excitement. “Whoever is secretly pursuing you must be quite extraordinary to have acquired a bunch of them.”
“Evernight Rose?” Elyse’s phone slipped from her hand and ttered to the floor as astonishment washed over her face. “Are you absolutely certain that’s what they are?”
Confusion crossed the maid’s features as she retrieved the fallen device. “The gardener confirmed they’re definitely Evernight Rose.”
Elyse stood motionless, her expression frozen in shock as her mind raced with implications.
After handling the arrangement, the maid prepared to take the flowers to the garden forposting when she noticed Elyse still rooted to the spot, seemingly lost in thought. “Ma’am, are you alright?” she asked, concern evident in her voice.
Elyse blinked rapidly, returning to the present moment. A slight smile curved her lips. “I’m fine, don’t worry yourself.”
With that reassurance, she turned and departed.
At the shopping center, Elyse carefully deliberated over her choice of a gift. Finding herself with unexpected free time, she decided to visit Shaun and Tracy at the hospital.<fncab6> Newest update provided by f?ndnovel</fncab6>
Shaun’s operation had been sessful, with all vital signs remaining stable. Once his recovery progressed further, he could begin physical therapy.
Elyse purchased a fresh bouquet and proceeded directly to the rehabilitation room at the hospital. Through the observation window, she saw Shaun weeping.

Shaun clung to the support railing, his cheeks marked with visible handprints. Tracy stood before him, her expression indifferent. “Why are you crying?” she demanded. “You’ve barely taken a few steps and you’re already in tears? If you continue thisziness, you’ll never stand independently again!”
“I’m exerting every effort,” Shaun protested, his voice thick with emotion. “My legs be numb, and sometimes I lose all sensation. I’ve been working diligently, and my bnce has improved significantly in recent days.”
Tracy’s eyes narrowed. “That’s insufficient. You need to return to your previous condition.”
“I desperately want to,” Shaun replied, his frustration mounting. “But if recovery were that simple, would I be struggling so intensely?”
Tracy struck him across the face again, her voice dropping to an icy tone. “How many times must I remind you not to speak with such negativity?”
Shaun fell silent, his spirit visibly crumbling. Covering his face with trembling hands, he sobbed, “You didn’t need to hit me with such force!”
Tracy’s lips curled into a sneer. “Are you going to walk or not? Refuse, and I’ll strike you again.”
After observing this exchange for several moments, Elyse could no longer remain a passive witness. She entered the room, her voice gentle but firm. “Perhaps you should take a brief respite and chat with me instead.”
