Albert was taken aback when he heard Charlie’s order. Without hesitation, he grabbed his dagger andmanded his subordinates, “Come over here and hold his head still for me.”
At that moment, Marcus was filled with fear. He thrashed about, shaking his head in panic, unwilling to have the words ‘pathetic jerk’ etched onto his forehead. Ironically, those were the very words he used almost daily to insult others!
In recent years, Marcus’s family had experienced a financial windfall. With newfound wealth, his behavior had be increasingly tyrannical.
Whenever he encountered garbage collectors, he would sneer, calling them pathetic jerks. Likewise, if he saw someone driving a car not as nice as his own, he would hurl the same insult at them.
Not too long ago, a high school student identally spilled a cup of milk tea on his expensive Dior jacket. In a fit of rage, Marcus had physically assaulted the student, leaving him with a concussion. When the student’s parents showed up, Marcus insulted them as well, saying, “Your entire family is so poor and pathetic! Even if I sold all of you into very, it wouldn’t be enough to rece my jacket!”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
After belittling the family, he walked away without offering to cover any of the student’s medical expenses.
Just the night before, Marcus had tried to go out for dinner but found himself stuck in traffic. In a fit of arrogance, he drove his Maserati up onto the sidewalk, forcing pedestrians to move aside and cyclists to carry their bikes out of his way. One elderly man didn’t move quickly enough for Marcus’s liking, which sent him into a rage. He jumped out of his car, kicked the old man into a bush, and spat on him, shouting, “Who gave you the audacity to block my path?! This time you’re lucky it’s just a kick, but next time, I swear I’ll kill you, you old fool!”
After that, Marcus sped off without a second thought.
Now, however, he found himself in a situation where he had tried to steal someone else’s parking space and crashed into Loreen’s car. Instead of acknowledging his wrongdoing, he scolded Loreen and insulted Charlie, calling him a pathetic jerk for defending her. His arrogance was ringly evident.
If Marcus had the words ‘pathetic jerk’ permanently inscribed on his forehead, it would be a fitting punishment that truly reflected his character!
Seeing the young man squirm and refuse to allow the engraving, Albert gritted his teeth and warned, “If you cooperate and stop struggling, I’ll just put the two words on your forehead. But if you continue to resist, not only will I engrave ‘pathetic jerk’ on your forehead, but I’ll also do it on both your cheeks!”
With a smirk, Albert added, “By the way, why do you seem so full of yourself just because your dad has made some money recently? Should I bring him here and carve ‘pathetic jerk’s father’ on his forehead too? I’ll make sure he knows it’s all thanks to you!”
Marcus was now utterly terrified.
Despite the Lloyd family’s financial status, they stood no chance against Don Albert, the notorious mob boss of Aurous Hill. Albert could easily wreak havoc on Marcus’s family with a single swing of a knife!
Additionally, Albert had the backing of the powerful Moore family, making him someone who was absolutely untouchable in Aurous Hill.
If Marcus had ‘pathetic jerk’ ingrained on his forehead, how would he face anyone in the future? And if Albert did bring his father in to inscribe ‘pathetic jerk’s father’ on him, how would his father ever show his face again? The humiliation would surely lead to an explosive confrontation at home!
Knowing the gravity of the situation, Marcus began to plead, “Uncle Albert, please have mercy! Could you at least make the engraving smaller?”
“Shut your mouth!” Albert roared, pping Marcus hard. “How dare you bargain with me right now?!”<fnc6f3> Original content can be found at find·novel</fnc6f3>
Desperate tears streamed down Marcus’s face as he felt deeply wronged. However, he dared not utter another word.
Albert then instructed his men to hold Marcus down as he prepared to engrave the words onto his forehead.
Meanwhile, Charlie swiftly pulled out his phone and activated the video recording feature. Despite Marcus’s pleas for a smaller engraving, Albert wouldn’t dare ignore Charlie’s request.
