Charlie nodded in understanding, responding, “That’s alright. If you had carved the words too beautifully, it would have been too lenient on him.”

Albert noticed the bloodied mark on Marcus’s forehead and pulled out a crumpled piece of toilet paper from his pocket to wipe away the blood, saying, “Alright! Let me carve the next word!”

This time, he engraved ‘jerk’ just asrge and deep as before. It was certainly eye-catching!
Once finished, Albert turned around, satisfaction written all over his face, and asked Charlie, “Mr. Wade, what do you think of my work?”
