Don Albert pointed an usatory finger at Samuel as hemanded his men, “Gather around! Drag this guy out and give him a good beating! Focus on that filthy mouth of his!”
Upon hearing Don Albert’s orders, Samuel’s fear escted, prompting him to drop to his knees. Tears streaming down his face, he pleaded, “Don Albert, I’m so sorry! I had no idea Jacob was your esteemed guest! This is entirely my fault. I acknowledge my mistake and sincerely apologize! Please, forgive me just this once!”
Samuel was taken aback by how remarkable Jacob’s son-inw was; he never imagined that even the notorious mob boss of Aurous Hill would be so subservient to him.
Before Samuel could continue his desperate pleas, several of Don Albert’s men advanced and pped him hard across the face.
Reeling from the blow, Samuel stumbled and fell to the ground as Don Albert’s bodyguards proceeded to punch and kick him. In that moment, he looked utterly pitiful and defeated.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Don Albert coldly regarded Samuel and inquired, “Why have you been targeting Mr. Wilson?”
With blood filling his mouth, Samuel cried out, “I’m sorry, Don Albert! I was simplypeting with Jacob for the position of executive director of the Calligraphy and Painting Association. That’s why I kept attacking him… please forgive me…”
Ignoring Samuel’s pleas, Don Albert scanned the room and asked, “Who is the president of the Calligraphy and Painting Association?”
Mr. Price quickly stepped forward, dering, “Don Albert, I am the president of the Calligraphy and Painting Association.”
With a slight nod, Don Albert pointed at Samuel and demanded, “Do you really believe this worthless person deserves a ce in the Calligraphy and Painting Association? How did you be president? Do you evenprehend how to conduct yourself? If you can’t, you should step down!”
Mr. Price trembled in fear at Don Albert’s words. Eager to save himself, he blurted out, “I will resign as president of the Calligraphy and Painting Association tomorrow! I will make sure to rmend Jacob as the next president…”
Upon hearing this, Jacob quickly waved his hands, saying, “No, no, Mr. Price. I’m not qualified to be president… I would be more than satisfied with the role of an executive director in the association…”
Mr. Price insisted, “If Don Albert believes you’re worthy, then you certainly are!”
Jacob shook his head fervently, insisting, “No, I haven’t achieved much in this association yet. I don’t deserve that position…”
At that moment, Don Albert turned to Mr. Price and said, “Since you’re the president, let me give you some advice.”
After a brief pause, Don Albert pointed at Samuel and instructed, “First, you must permanently expel this piece of trash from the Calligraphy and Painting Association.”<fna6aa> Original content can be found at Find★Novel</fna6aa>
Mr. Price responded, “Absolutely! I will ensure he ispletely removed from the association by tomorrow!”
Don Albert nodded approvingly before indicating Jacob, saying, “Mr. Wilson possesses extensive knowledge in antiques as well as in calligraphy and painting. Since he’s modest and reluctant to take on the presidency, you should appoint him as the executive director. Do you understand?”
Mr. Price eagerly promised, “Yes! I will certainly follow your instructions!”
Afterwards, Mr. Price’s demeanor shifted as he red at Samuel, dering, “Samuel Yount, I hereby announce that you are officially expelled from the Calligraphy and Painting Association and will never be allowed to rejoin!”
Feeling utterly defeated, Samuel couldn’t help but feel despondent.
Truth be told, Samuel had never been particrly skilled at appraising antiques. He had only gained membership in the Aurous Hill Calligraphy and Painting Association by spending a significant amount of money.
For years, he had relied on his status within the association to deceive others. He had envisioned that bing the executive director would make it even easier to con people out of their money. Little did he know that offending Jacob would lead to his permanent removal from the association!
However, Samuel dared not voice any discontent. He fully understood the grave consequences of crossing Don Albert.
Just as he resigned himself to his fate, Don Albert looked at him with a steely gaze and remarked, “I’ve heard you hold yourself in high regard, believing you possess a significant status. If that’s the case, I’ll make arrangements for you to be taken to a ce where you can truly experience that identity!”
With that, Don Albert ordered his men, “Take him away! Find the dirtiest pigsty and leave him there to wallow with the pigs for a week. He’ll eat what the pigs eat and sleep where the pigs sleep. I want him to truly understand what it means to have a VIP experience!”
