The Amazing son in law Chapter 951

As the trio exited the orphanage and made their way to the restaurant, a cheerful voice called out, “Charlie, Lisa!”

Turning around, they saw a group of familiar faces approaching them.

These were friends from Charlie’s days at the orphanage, though many of them he hadn’t seen since leaving. The only one he had kept in touch with was his close friend, Caleb.

Charlie had been quite reserved during his early years at the orphanage, a result of his parents’ tragic death. His introverted nature often kept him silent for entire days, and he frequently found himself isted from the other children.

Fortunately, Caleb, who was a bit older, always stood up for Charlie and made an effort to include him in games and activities. Their bond grew stronger over the years, and despite being of the same age, Caleb was just a few months older than Charlie.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

After leaving the orphanage, the two friends chose to work together at a construction site, enduring hardships and challenges side by side. This experience forged a brotherly connection between them.

However, they had different approaches to their finances. While Charlie selflessly donated his earnings to the orphanage, Caleb saved his money for personal use. Once Caleb had amassed a decent sum, he left the construction site to pursue a small business in Lancaster.

Charlie understood Caleb’s perspective. As orphans, they faced unique challenges, and many, including themselves, sought to establish a stable foundation for their futures. Unlike others who had families to rely on, an orphan had to fend for themselves, often living in precarious situations.

Charlie’s decision to support the orphanage stemmed from his father’s teachings and the gratitude he felt toward Mrs. Lewis, who had shown him kindness. He recognized that his survival into adulthood wasrgely due to her generosity.

Additionally, Charlie’s upbringing as the young master of the Wade family instilled in him values ofpassion and ethics, setting him apart from the other children in the orphanage.

At that moment, Caleb stepped forward with enthusiasm, saying, “Charlie, my good brother! It’s been so long since west saw each other!”

Recalling their time at the construction site, where they shared a shed and worked side by side, Charlie felt a wave of excitement. “Caleb, I think it’s been at least three or four years! How has life been for you in Lancaster?”

Caleb chuckled and replied, “I’m doing well! I have enough to eat and nice clothes to wear!”

Charlie inquired further, “What about that girl you met on the construction site? Are you two married?”

Caleb’s expression shifted slightly, a hint of sadness creeping in as he replied, “Well, we dated for two or three years, but we never married. I couldn’t afford a dowry or a house, and her parents didn’t approve of me. Eventually, she started to feel the same way and broke up with me.”<fn6f93> For more chapters visit f?i?n?d?n?o?v?e?l?</fn6f93>

Worried, Charlie asked, “When did this happen?”

Caleb managed a small smile as he responded, “Justst month.”

Charlie nodded, affirming, “It’s her loss for not choosing you.”
