Lady Wilson is the kind of person who looks forward rather than back.
During her time in the detention center, she relied heavily on Gena for support, treating her with the utmost kindness, as if Gena were her own daughter.
However, deep down, Lady Wilson held a dismissive view of someone like Gena, whom she considered a vulgar vige woman.
Once she was released from the detention center, Lady Wilsonpletely erased Gena from her mind.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
To her, Gena was merely a tool she had used during a challenging time, and once that period passed, she had no desire to maintain any connection with her.
What surprised her, however, was Gena’s sudden and unexpected appearance at her home!
Gena was taken aback when Lady Wilson denied any involvement in their situation.
From Gena’s perspective, it was clearly Lady Wilson who had rescued them, arranged for their transportation to Thompson First, and managed their entry through the gate. Why was she now denying it?
Puzzled, Gena asked, “Lady, what’s going on? You were the one who did all these good deeds, so why won’t you admit it?”
“Exactly!” chimed in Yadira and Samantha, who had also approached, clearly confused. “Lady, you’re the one who facilitated everything. Why deny it?”
As Lady Wilson stood surrounded by the three of them, she was overwhelmed by their unpleasant odor, which made her feel dizzy and caused her to cough.
The trio had neglected personal hygiene, especially during the winter months when their thick clothing made it easier to overlook cleanliness. As a result, they carried a strong body odor.
With the three of them so close, the smell was particrly overpowering.
Covering her nose, Lady Wilson eximed, “Gena, you’ve really misunderstood! I didn’t do any of those things…”
Gena, showing herrge yellow teeth in a grin, replied, “Oh, Lady, I know you have a good heart and might not want to acknowledge everything, but it’s okay! After all, we inmates share a bond! Now that the three of us are out, we’ll stick by your side and take care of you!”
Samantha quickly added, “That’s right, Lady! While you were away, we arranged for a room. Fortunately, your vi has plenty of space, and we can all live here together. You’ll be like a mother to us!”
“What?!” Lady Wilson eximed, her anger ring. “You’ve assigned rooms? Who gave you the authority to do that?!”
Samantha, startled by Lady Wilson’s sudden outburst, replied, “But, Lady, you invited us toe live with you! We should have a share of the rooms!”
Shaken with rage, Lady Wilson responded, “This is my house! I might overlook you trespassing, but who gave you the right to divide my personal space?! Get out immediately!”
At that moment, Wendy arrived and quietly interjected, “Grandma, we’re short on help right now. Let them assist us for a bit, and they can leave once Dad and Brother are feeling better.”
Lady Wilson waved her hand dismissively and retorted coldly, “I won’t allow them to stay here without proper help. They smell terrible! Keeping them here for even a moment longer would be unbearable! Besides, Mr. Webb will arrange for a much more capable assistant—someone ten thousand times better than these three smelly olddies!”
Turning sharply to Gena, she ordered, “You three, leave my house at once!”<fn71be> ?????? ???? FιndNovel</fn71be>
