In disbelief, she turned to Lady Wilson and eximed, “Lady, are you really going to let us leave? This is outrageous! Remember, we were in the detention center, and despite that, the three of us have been looking after you and offering our help. Even your daughter-inw ine—we supported your teaching her!”
Lady Wilson replied sharply, “Did I ever ask for your help? When did I say you should teach ine a lesson? You only started hitting her because you thought she was upset!”
Gena felt a wave of disappointment wash over her. “Lady Wilson, you’re truly flipping your stance faster than turning a page! Back in the detention center, we supported you so much, and I never expected this would be the oue!”
With a nk expression, Lady Wilson responded, “I apologize if I’ve let you down, but consider this a lesson for you. Recognize your ce in the future, and stop dreaming!”
Gena clenched her teeth and challenged, “Oh really, Lady? Is that how you speak? Fine! I won’t leave! What do you think you can do to me?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Yadira and Samantha chimed in, “Exactly! We’re not going anywhere!”
Lady Wilson was taken aback by their defiance and coldly dered, “You three are making a mistake. Have you looked in the mirror? With your filthy selves, do you really think you belong in this Thompson First vi? If people like you can stay here, it’s truly a sign of short-sightedness!”
She continued with an air of arrogance, “When I was in the detention center, I was forced to endure a chicken coop for two days. You really think I’m like you?”
Yadira shouted back, “Lady Wilson! Remember, even a troubled phoenix is better than a chicken! Don’t push it, you old hag! If you provoke us, we won’t hesitate to take you down, even if you’re old!”
Samantha quickly agreed, “Yes! Just like we dealt with ine before, we can handle you the same way now!”
With a smirk, Lady Wilson replied, “Go ahead, try to hit me. The moment you do, I’ll call the police, and you’ll be arrested!”<fn4f11> Newest update provided by find[?]ovel</fn4f11>
Gena felt her temper re as she clenched her fists, itching to throw a punch at Lady Wilson. However, she recalled the prison guards’ warnings about needing to abide by thew while out on bail. She thought, “They said we might face a longer sentence if we cause trouble. I can’t let that happen!”
Taking a deep breath, she said coldly, “Lady, it’s clear you have nothing to do with us. If you believe we can’t rise to your level, can we leave?”
Lady Wilson nodded, “Yes, it’s best if you leave quickly, or I will call the police!”
Gena gritted her teeth and addressed herpanions, “Alright, we got out early, so there’s no point in dragging this out. Let’s pack our things and go!”
Though Yadira and Samantha were reluctant, they feared returning to the detention center and reluctantly agreed, nodding angrily.
The three of them gathered their belongings in frustration and prepared to leave with their nkets.
Lady Wilson watched over them, fanning her hand in front of her nose with a look of disgust. “Oh, it smells so bad! Hurry up and get as far away as you can. If you daree back, I’ll call the police and have you arrested!”
Gena felt a deep sense of humiliation but, fearing trouble, could only grit her teeth and say to her friends, “Let’s go!”
Just then, seven or eight strong men barged in from outside. Noticing the tense situation, one of them asked, “What’s going on? Where are you three headed?”
Gena, thinking these intimidating men were called by Lady Wilson, nervously urged, “Please, don’t be rash! We’re leaving!”
The leader responded coldly, “Where do you think you’re going?! Mr. Webb has said that from now on, this house is your home. This property belongs to him, not to Lady Wilson. She’s merely borrowing it like you. So, as long as Mr. Webb is on your side, she doesn’t have the authority to kick you out!”<h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
