    Loreen chuckled, “By living a tough life. Right now, he’s renting a ce in the middle of the city vige, and let me tell you, the living conditions are pretty rough.”


    ire couldn’t help butugh, “Your cousin sounds like quite the character! Living in the city vige must feel like a real punishment for him, right? There’s no way he chose this himself; who would willingly put themselves through that?”


    Charlie couldn’t help but be amused by the conversation.

As a result, they’ve decided he must endure a year of hardship here in Aurous Hill before he can return.     Charlie nodded and asked, “Are they joining us for lunch?”


    ire shook her head, “No, Loreen will leave after a quick visit. She’s rushing to the airport to catch a flight back to Eastcliff.”


    She added, “Oh, and I should mention, Loreen’s cousin is staying in Aurous Hill for an entire year, so I want to introduce you two.”


    Charlie smiled slightly, “I actually met him when I was in Eastcliffst time. Remember when you asked me to send a birthday gift to Loreen’s grandmother? He was there, too.”


    “Really?” ire said with a smile. “So, have you kept in touch with him?”


    Charlie replied, “We exchanged a few words, but that was about it.”


    ire nodded and cautioned, “Just so you know, her cousin has an unweing personality. He’s quite arrogant, relying on his family’s wealth, and he tends to look down on others. If he acts proud when he’s around you, don’t take it personally. After all, he’s a guest, and it’s New Year’s. Let’s avoid any conflicts.”


    Charlie smiled and assured her, “Don’t worry, I’ve got it under control.”
