    Fitz quickly chimed in, “Mom, I’m going to Aurous Hill for work. I’ll be taking Zara along for some sightseeing. If youe too, I can arrange the flights and hotel!”


    Deana chuckled, saying, “No need for a hotel. Your grandfather has an old house in Aurous Hill that has been well-maintained over the years. We can stay there.”


    Zara looked surprised and asked, “Mom, Grandpa still has a house in Aurous Hill? Why haven’t I heard about it before?”


    With a smile, Deana exined, “Your dad has always had some reservations about Aurous Hill, which is why I’ve never taken you there over the years. That’s why you didn’t know about the house.”


    Continuing, Deana shared, “Your grandfather’s ancient house in Aurous Hill is quite remarkable. It’s located right next to the Presidential Pce and has been standing since the Ming Dynasty, through the Quintong Dynasty and into the Republic of China. Over the years, many notable figures have lived there. In the 1970s, your grandfather invested a considerable amount to purchase it, and he and your grandmother would asionally spend a few days there.”


    Fitz recalled hearing about his father’s hesitations regarding Aurous Hill, and he immediately thought back to the stories he had heard about Bruce, his mother’s beloved from long ago, who had died there. This realization left him feeling quite conflicted.


    Meanwhile, Zara spoke up without hesitation, “Mom, why don’t you take a break at Grandpa’s house tonight? We can head to Aurous Hill first thing in the morning!”


    Deana replied, “Alright, but I don’t want to discuss this further. Your dad and I have our own matters to resolve. This situation is between us, and it won’t affect your rtionship with him or me, okay?”


    Fitz and Zara responded in unison, “We understand, Mom.”
