Wing Chun, while effective, primarily consists of conventional boxing techniques and martial arts, rather than the more profound realm of internal boxing.


    When wepare it to ordinary boxing, Wing Chun tends to be more advanced.


    Ordinary boxing is fundamentally a fighting technique. Whether it’s Chinese Wing Chun, Japanese karate, or Korean Taekwondo, all these martial arts are forms ofbat skills, but the creators of these techniques had different perspectives, leading to unique fighting styles.


    However, Aikido stands apart.


    The essence of Aikido practice lies not in physical techniques but in the development of internal strength.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">


    The term “chi sinking dantian” refers to the inner strength cultivated through internal practices.


    In this regard, Aikido is significantly more sophisticated than ordinary boxing, boasting greater overall power.


    Xion’s dedication to internal boxing practice has allowed her to excel beyond her peers and emerge as a leader.


    Nevertheless, the Aikido she practiced is still far removed from the teachings found in Charlie’s Apocalyptic Book.


    Determined to offer her some guidance, Charlie said, “Miss Banks, may I give you a pulse number? Is that alright?”


    Without hesitation, she responded, “Of course, Master Wade, please proceed.” She then extended her right hand toward Charlie.


    Charlie gently ced his finger on Xion’s pulse, allowing a trace of reiki to flow through her veins and into her body.


    As the reiki coursed through Xion, Charlie quickly realized that within her body, only the Ren and Du channels of the eight extraordinary meridians were open.


    The Ren and Du channels are collectively known as the Ren Du and are part of the eight extraordinary meridians.

    They are termed “extraordinary” because, for most individuals, these eight meridians remain unconnected by nature.


    In traditional Chinese martial arts and Taoist practices, the focus is on cultivating chi.


    This chi is stored within the body and sinks into the dantian, moving through the eight extraordinary meridians.


    Thus, the degree to which these channels are opened and connected directly impacts a person’s strength.


    To put it simply, if a person were like an internalbustion engine, the chi in the dantian would serve as the fuel for its operation.


    The eight extraordinary meridians function as the pipelines that supply fuel to this engine. If none of these pipelines are open, that person is essentially an ordinary individual.


    If one or two of the eight channels are connected, that person’s strength can significantly increase.


    Achieving full connection across all eight points would nearly represent the pinnacle of internal cultivation.


    Currently, Xion has only opened the Ren and Du channels, leaving six more to be unlocked. If she can ess just one additional channel, her strength could potentially double.


    Unfortunately, with traditional internal exercises, essing all eight meridians remains a challenge.


    In the case of the Elms family’s Aikido, over the centuries, only one ancestor has managed to open four of the eight extraordinary channels.


    For others, the best they could achieve was three.


    At present, Xion’s grandfather, Wilfred, is the only member of the Elms family to have opened three meridians. In the past four decades since he achieved this, no other family member has opened additional meridians, as typically, only one can be unlocked in a lifetime.<h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
