The Amazing son in law Chapter 2289

    “`html

After departing from Charlie’s parents’ old home, Deana found herself feeling a bit adrift.

This sense of uncertainty stemmed from two sources: she missed Bruce terribly, and she had just encountered someone who bore a striking resemnce to him, stirring up a flood of memories from her younger days.

Upon returning to Thorne’s mansion in Aurous Hill, Deana was weed by the delicious aroma of avish lunch prepared by the staff.

Fitz had just returned from the orphanage where he had made a donation. As soon as Deana walked in, he eagerly inquired, “Mom, where did you go this morning?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Deana snapped out of her reverie and replied somewhat distractedly, “Oh, I just went out for a bit. Uncle White took me around.”

Just then, a maid entered and respectfully announced, “Second Miss, the meal is ready.”

Deana nodded and instructed Fitz, “Please go and fetch your sister. What could she possibly be doing? She’s been holed up in her room for days. The moment we arrived in Aurous Hill, she locked herself away. It’s quite strange.”

“Ahh…” Fitz chuckled, “Zara is determined to find our savior, the young man who rescued us in Japan.”

Deana’s eyes widened in realization, and she quickly asked, “Do you have any leads?”

Fitz shook his head, letting out a sigh of exasperation. “Finding him is like searching for a needle in a haystack. I can’t even tell if he’s Chinese or an overseas Chinese national. I have no idea if he’s still in Japan or back in the country.”

Deana spoke earnestly, “This person saved both your lives. If it weren’t for him, you could have been in serious danger. I truly want to find a way to express our gratitude…”<fneab0> Th?s chapter is updated by f?ndnovel</fneab0>

She then inquired, “What information do you have about this benefactor? Share it with me, and I’ll help youe up with a n.”

Fitz extended his palms in a gesture of helplessness and muttered, “Unfortunately, we don’t have any real clues. We barely remember what he looks like, and beyond that, we have nothing substantial.”

Deana suggested, “What if we put out a reward? We could say we want to find our original savior to thank him personally. If he sees it, he might reach out to us.”

Fitz replied, “Zara has thought about that, but she believes the chances are slim. She thinks our benefactor is a genuinely good person who likely isn’t short on money. Even if he saw the reward, he probably wouldn’te forward.”

Deana nodded in agreement, saying, “Exactly. If he truly wanted money, he would have mentioned it when he saved you or at least left some contact information. Relying solely on a fleeting memory to track him down seems nearly impossible.”

Fitz sighed, “I’ve tried to convince Zara of that, but she remains undeterred.”

As he spoke, he shook his head and added, “I’ll go get Zara for dinner.”

    “Alright, go ahead.”

Shortly after, Zara emerged from her room, still d in her pajamas and looking somewhat reluctant at Fitz’s prompting.

She clutched an iPad in one hand, her fingers busily swiping through images on the screen.

As they reached the dining room, Zara remained absorbed in her device. Deana seized the moment to ask, “Zara, I heard from your brother that you’re searching for our benefactor. Any updates?”
