As James rushed out, he quickly realized that Fitz was nowhere in sight. He sprinted for a hundred or two hundred meters but soon acknowledged that there was no way he could catch up with hisrger nephew. Defeated, he turned around and made his way back to the old man’s study. On his return, James felt an unexpected surge of joy and thought to himself, “How fortunate I am! I was worried about how to distract the old man, and then Fitz showed up just in time to provoke him. Now, the old man will be too preupied with how to discipline him.”
Feeling quite proud of himself, James entered the old man’s study and feigned shame as he said, “Dad, I know that boy; he runs faster than a dog! I couldn’t even keep up…”
Lord Banks shouted in frustration, “You are just as useless!”
After that, he immediately summoned the housekeeper. Upon entering, hemanded sternly, “Notify everyone! If anyone spots Fitz, that rebellious son, bring him back for punishment!”
The butler quickly bowed and replied, “Master, rest assured, I will ensure the message gets through.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
With a wave of his hand, Lord Banks dismissed the housekeeper, then turned to James and said, “Get ready for crisis management, and make it as vigorous as possible! Also, head straight to Aurous Hill! I want to see Deana and Zara—alive or dead!”
James nodded eagerly, eximing, “I’m on it!”
Meanwhile, Fitz had already driven away from the Banks residence, heading towards the airport. As he drove, he pulled out his cell phone to call the person managing the family’s private jets. The Banks Family owned several jets, one of which belonged to Zayne, who was currently in Australia, leaving the jet in Eastcliff. Just as Fitz was about to ce the call, Zayne’s number lit up on his screen.
Fitz quickly answered, his voice frantic as he said, “Dad! Mom and Zara are missing…”
Zayne’s deep voice responded, “I know. Where are you right now?”
Fitz replied hastily, “I’m on my way to the airport. I’m going to Aurous Hill to find Mom and Zara!”
Zayne urgently cautioned, “Listen to me, don’t go to the airport. I just got word that your grandfather is searching for you everywhere, ready to bring you back for discipline. What did you do to upset him?”
Fitz, filled with anger, exined, “I heard that something happened to my mother and Zara. I felt like Grandpa was behind it, so I confronted him. I didn’t expect him to get so furious. Uncle James tried to hit me, and I just ran out.”
“Damn it!” Zayne cursed. “You’re in your twenties! Have you wasted all those years? Don’t you know your grandfather’s character?”
Fitz shot back, “But…”<fnb435> Newest update provided by ?ovelFind</fnb435>
Zayne interrupted him sharply, “But what? Your grandfather only cares about himself and his absolute control over the Banks Family! If anything or anyone threatens his power, he won’t hesitate to deal with it. Remember my situation; I’m not even a match for him, so why would you confront him? Do you want to be thrown out of the Banks house?”
Fitz clenched his jaw, dering, “If my mom and Zara are truly harmed by Grandpa, not only will I leave the Banks house, but I will also seek vengeance for them!”
Zayne felt a rush of concern but then lowered his voice, warning, “Even if you think like that, never say it out loud. A real man acts, he doesn’t just talk!”<h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
